Arle lolled her head at the chaos bolt. How was she supposed to channel it without incanting its name..? The idea was foreign to her. She did take note, however, that it had an impractically long charging time that she couldn't conceive herself making use of in the midst of a fight. She recalled being able to perform some wildly destructive attacks given a much shorter time. Surely it wasn't necessary... More importantly though, could she even do it? Practicality wasn't her biggest issue if she couldn't even get the spell off in the first place. While Arle was pondering this, however, she noticed a certain ... tension in Warren. Did his face look a little red, or was she just imagining it? Her eyes snapped to his and she watched him carefully, subtly trying to catch his eyes wandering. She could see something strange in his eyes, but she wasn't sure what it was. When was the last time she'd seen a look quite like that..? Was it... Camus, perhaps? The slightly older, protective mage had always had something of an interest in Arle, one that frequently earned him a lot of unwanted attention from one of their other classmates. Unfortunately, the passing of time had torn the two of them apart. He'd been quite helpful in his own strange way while she was scaling the Dark Prince's tower, even if Arle had wound up showing him up numerous times. She decided not to comment on this. Knowing only one way to use magic, she promptly applied her own logic to the attack.
"...Chaos burst!" Arle shouted, directing her hands up into the sky. The mage waited for a long moment, but the spell had fizzled immediately. Bemused, Arle lowered her arms and observed her palms for a moment. She then awkwardly ran a hand through her luxuriously big hair, held in place by a blue and gold tiara. "Hehe~ I think this might be a little hard for me. I've never used magic without incanting before. Honestly, I'm not sure that I can." Arle would lament somewhat light-heartedly. Admittedly, while she thought highly of her magical ability this was a bit much for her. She didn't even know how channeling the attack worked, much less how to do it herself.
