Koal was starting to get frustrated with Doom. More specifically, the way the man seemed to know what Koal was going to do before The Demon even initiated his attack. He wasn't fast enough to avoid them outright, but he parried and redirected a great deal of his strikes.
Koal growled and lashed out with his claws splayed, Raking them across the armored chestpiece. The resulting screeching noise almost made him flinch, but he pressed his attack, not wanting to let his opponent have a chance to recuperate. Yet Doom still blasted him in the chest, knocking Koal off balance. They both stood, Koal nursing his burn, Doom still as a statue. The Demon growled and drew boy of his blades, the ebony edges seemingly drawing in darkness. His eyes became luminescent, the blood-red orbs locking onto Doom, his face frozen in a snarl. And in that moment, Koal and Doom stood as equals. And then it was back to battle.
Koal twirled and delivered a quick strike to his left arm, before bringing the heavier blade around, attempting to wedge the blade in Dooms leg. Doom jumped, avoiding the sword heading for his leg, yet getting a large cut on his arm, blood seeping out for one of the first times Doom could remember. The sight of blood made Koal smile maniacally, edging him on to knee Doom in the gut knocking him to the ground.
Doom lay on his hands and knees, breathing hard, his eyes narrowed.
"You may not be weak, but no mortal can stand to my might. I had the powers of God. I have created worlds and destroyed many much more powerful than you." He stood, his metal hands crackling with energy. "If I go down, I will most certainly bring you with me."
Lighting tore through Koals body, blue arcs of electricity burning his flesh. Koal wasn't unfamiliar with the sensation, and it brought back his past. His torture. White rooms and doctors In lab coats. Letting out a demonic screech, he rushed forward, grabbing Doom, throwing him to the Ashen ground. He then began to punch, trying his hardest to drive the horrible memories out of his head by force. When Doom lay unconscious, Koal grabbed a collar of his belt, his chest heaving, and snapped it on the Primes neck.
"N-now... to get him back."
