Koal carefully dismounted his wyvern, feeling the beasts' large chest inflate and deflate with each breath. It's eyes were luminescent in the large cloud of ash and sulfur, penetrating the mystery man's gaze. Koal smirked as he felt three similar tremors in the ground, signaling that each of the other riders had arrived. The winged creatures circled, their riders jeering at the Green-cloaked man, who remained still, hands alight with energy.
"Funny, you remind me of a certain ally that I once had. He was a skinny little fucker. Big mouth. Bigger ego." He smiled as Dooms' eyes narrowed in anger. He was shorter than him, so Koal had to slightly look up to meet his gaze. Koals eyes pulses with violent energy. As much as he claimed to hate conflict, it gave him a high unlike anything else. It made him feel as if every cell in his body was vibrating with energy. His mind was no longer clouded when he fought. It was clear, and sharper than the tips of his claws. It brought out his inner demon.
"There is no one alive that compares to DOOM! I am, and will forever be apart from the imperfections of mortals such as you." Dooms voice was deep and slightly metallic, probably due to the material of his mask. It was layered with confidence and arrogance. Which made Koals job easier. Angry targets were easy to goad into bad decisions. His armor would be tough to get around, but Koal was sure he could manage.
"Well then, Doctor, once we get a collar on you... I'll show you just how vulnerable you are."
And with that, Koal and Doom charged one another. Koal punched, and Doom deflected the punch, spinning and shoving Koal in the back, disrupting the demons center of balance. Koal recovered and vaulted over Doom, slashing at his head, claws skimming over the metal, gouging trenches in it. Dooms eyes widened, surprised. Koal stepped back, and signaled for the others to attack.
He had a job to do.
