As Chara, woke up in her bed. She found six people around her. Everyone who she loved or respected left always, or betrayed her; so why were they here now? Bluntly as ever, Chara spoke with a hate. "What do you want?" The kid with boxing gloves, cracked his knuckles. "Well, we know who, and what you are. Isn't that right, Tina?" Chara grew white faced as that name was spoken. Tina looked sad, and when the two girls looked at each other in the eye; Tina looked away after the two looked in each other’s eyes. "Chara I'm sorry, but we need your help. We don't want the monsters locked underground, and we need a special soul to break it down. You are the only one around that has determination, anywhere nearby."
Chara released her soul, it was a mix of black and red. "My soul is a hybrid now, and before you ask me if I’m part monster. . . I don't know." she held the soul with a caring that was unheard of to the kids. The six kids showed their souls, and they each pulled out a bag, before handing a seventh bag to the demon. Chara opened the old leather bag to see, a stone tablet, a map, and a leather outfit. "I . . . I want you to know, that I don't hate you." Chara sighed a weight coming off her chest. "It’s just the humans who did everything to ruin me, now those are the ones that I hate." She slipped on the armor, and her soul turned pure red. Everyone could see a few words pop up in a box above Chara, who for once smiled a respecting smile. "The one who lost everything, is ready to stop this injustice."
A pair of short swords appear in the sheaths. As the other kids, Dugg, Tom, Jack, Tina, Sammy, Sophie, slipped on their armor their weapon appeared. A yellow bow for dug, Tom the soul of bravery gets a brass knuckles, jack the soul of Perseverance, gets a book of magic; Tina the soul of Patience gets a fan, Sammy the soul of Kindness gets a spear; and Sophie the soul of Integrity gets a pair of ballet shoes.
Each kid’s soul was burning with purpose, and looking forward to the future that monsters can live on the surface. If they fail well they would die, but that did not scare them. The group of kids held hands and used their magic to teleport to the base of Mount Ebott. The huge mountain, was once flowing with blood and dust, it is said that the monsters held out for a few months before surrendering. Chara opened up the map and saw it led to a cave in the side of the mountain. The group now a band of “rebels” had to fight and or evade the soldiers now looking for them.
Chara muttered to herself as, she realized doing this would not be so easy; as originally thought in this forest of trees, rocks, and holes. “Big, brother is always watching. Shoot, if I’m the only soul of determination left? And I die, the monsters can’t escape!” The others looked at Chara with a slight worry in their faces. Chara quickly pushed the thought to the back of her mind; and continued to push on, grabbing onto a boulder and pulling herself up. The seven kids finally found themselves at a door that was in ruins, it was in its prime beautiful, and intricate.
Chara walked up to the door and pushed on it. The door was stuck due to vines that were all over the door. She huffed with anger, as the others looked around for something that would act as a switch or a lever to opening the door. It was after searching for a few hours, that Tina actually found it. The switch was that seven different souls had to stand in a certain order. After the door opened, Chara held her soul out as a slight amount of light, and walked in; the others right behind her.
The seven children walked down the damp, and dark hallway. Till they reached a room, that was lit up by a hole in the top. The room was made of quartz, and looked untouched and like they had gone back into another time period. There was a crystal in the middle, it was white and was about twenty feet high. Around the base of the crystal was a large ring; with seven sings an equal distance from each other around the larger ring. As they entered each ring, they could hear, a lot of people run down the corridor to the barrier room.
Chara looked around slightly scared, she had realized that it would be too easy to free the monsters. This group had such a hold on the now united human race, that they could enact any law they please. And no one would care.
The AMD had arrived. A woman that wore a black overcoat, black dress pants, and wore a face of pure fury. “You are under arrest, for treason, and helping the monsters.” Jessica snapped her fingers, and laughed as a girl with a pink soul walked forward. There was also a pink blob that floated behind her. “Betty you get your end of the deal, after killing these traitors.” Chara gulped as she unsheathed her short swords.
Betty chuckled as she closed her eyes, and the pink blob moved behind her. She then opened her eyes, and had a creepy face. “We can’t let you do that . . . for we were made to stop humans, and monsters from living peacefully together.” Chara’s eyes widened as she realized she was the only one of the seven who had not frozen up with their eyes the same pink color. “Guys snap out of it!” Betty laughed as she changed her soul to a spear. “They can’t hear you. But you are the first to not be affected by my soul. I’ll give you a wonderful reward.” she aimed at Chara. “You will watch me kill your friends.” Betty was laughing non-stop now, and threw the spear at Tina.
“NO!” Chara felt something in her break and she teleported to in front of the spear. Tina and the others broke free of the spell by Chara’s scream; and they saw the red soul poking out of her body bleeding slightly. Chara was holding the spear, Betty pulled the spear back to her soul in tow, and the Bête noire actually was laughing; and smiled before shattering it, causing the life in Chara’s eyes to die and she slumped over on the ground. It hung in midair in its shattered form. Chara twitched, fighting death, and they could hear her coughing out blood.
Tina rushed over to Chara, and held her in her arms. Crying silently, and babbling and morning Chara. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, don’t leave me! I need you Chara.” Chara’s ragged breathing stopped and she was lifeless. Tina stopped talking and chuckled. “I, lost my best friend. Now . . .” Tina picked up a short sword and her face darkened. “Time for your judgment!” The other six walked forward eyes also dark, causing the Bête noire to gain fear. Dugg fired a crossbow bolt at Betty, and the pink blob took the arrow hitting the wall and getting stuck on it. It hissed at the group furious.
Sammy tapped her spear on the ground, and caused both opponents to get stuck in a small sphere. “You can’t escape, I’ll make sure of that.” Betty laughed as she broke out of the cage and rushed the six.
As Chara floated in nothingness she saw a box pop up as she touched the ground. Reset? Or continue? Chara raised her hand to Reset? But decided that she had to help. “My friends need my help, i will not fail because of death. Chara slammed the continue button, and saw the six had been hurt badly. She saw Tina was the last one on her feet and fighting betty head to head.
Chara weakly got up and created a fireball before firing at Betty. Betty got hit in the back and crashed into the wall. “Now, face someone your own size!” Chara got a dirty look from Betty, and the true battle had begun.
