Putting out the call

After reaching Tier 1, Jak took a deep breath and began to run. His speed had slightly improved over time due to the new experiments on him and he wasn’t going to take whatever he had for granted.

There was a bit of clatter happening as Tier 1 was burdened with dark creatures who bothered Coruscant and stormtroopers were all gathered into one area. They pointed their guns at the creatures and began to shoot. However, this only would burden Jak and slow him down from his main task.

There was something to save and he needed to be there.

But what was his purpose for being there?

Jak felt he needed a purpose in the Omniverse and a hero was the last thing was on his mind at the time, but Daxter would be proud of him.

Along with those who looked up to him.

This gave him new purpose to go on. Once he was sure, the man kept running toward the elevators of Tier 2. He gritted his teeth as he pressed the buttons and the elevator was nearby.
After a series of waiting, the mechanical device dinged and opened. Jak entered and pressed Tier 2’s button, going down.

Tier 2 seemed to be just as much chaos as Tier 1 as Jak continued his trek toward this Dr. Regal’s Lab. Jak just barely avoided a piece of wood heading for him as a darkling threw it as he cursed. “What the hell are these things anyway?”

He summoned another small zoomer and hopped on riding it toward the lab.

After many other close attempts, Jak finally made it to the lab.

“Dammit, I’m late.”

"May I help you?

"Ah, come right this way. Mr. Regal is here along with others."

"Wait, others came?... Not surprising, I guess."

Jak heard the gist of the conversation from the back of the crowd and he gritted his teeth.

Dark Eco and Dark Chips... they seemed so much alike..

So dangerous if used the wrong way.

"Doc, does these... chips act like dark eco in a way? It's... a drug in my world... well, almost like one."
