As Vision let loose his barrage of lasers on the large group of hostile soldiers, the soldiers bent down and loaded their rifles at the android leader. He swiveled to make it past several bullets while the fearless Captain took steps to avoid injuring any of the sugarcane citizens still residing on the island.
Marcus didn’t wait for the storms to do any more damage as he eyed Hellboy and nodded looking over at the citizens.
“My name is Marcus Wright, this is probably the first time I’ve ever saved a full time world before, but I promise to get as many of you people to safety as possible.”
With Vision’s chaos, people started to realize there was a problem.
They looked over to Marlin, who swiftly reminded them that they needed to get to the docks as fast as they could.
Hellboy was already moving on it, trying to either move those who couldn’t walk toward the docks or round up the folks like a cowboy at a rodeo.
As the two began moving the folks near the docks, Hellboy couldn’t help but snicker “So wait, Marcus, you never saved a world before?”
Marcus was carrying a sugarcane woman who couldn’t walk toward the docs while Hellboy moved the citizens who were running like a chicken’s head cut off toward the loading docs. Those citizens who were smart enough to move toward the docs and were getting drug withdrawals were the first to show up, quite a few citizens couldn’t walk so the cyborg and the half demon made the long trip back and forth to the docs.
The hardest folks to convince to get off the island was those who had shown the worst symptoms of sugarcane addiction.
