A Final Boss Awakens!

Guu smiled and her tail slid out, growing large and noticeable out from under her skirt as she jumped back, landing on her tail while her arms and legs stretched out into the air in her expression of joy. The tail shared the same coloring as her clothes, and Yogsothoth though Desco had not summoned Yog here. Desco wasn't fighting or trying to fly around. She exclaimed, "Yes! Desco was created to be a boss monster for Big Sis! Yea we can have lots of fun!" Desco righted herself, her tail still holding her up which added a couple feet to her height until she leaned down and forward on it. Sans needed to talk to Guu, that was something Desco could help with. "You need to ask Guu something? Desco can e-mail Guu right now. What do you want to ask her?" Desco had her cell phone out, something Sans should be familiar with. There was no guarantee when Guu would reply though, not only might she be busy but time dilation could get the text to her at any time, from two weeks in the future to two days in the past.

Shortly, the waitress brought back the orders for everyone. She had everything balanced in the air levitating as if it had never heard of gravity. Chocolate and gummi bears floated over to Desco while the Prinnies got some very unusual things. Sardine shakes for all of them, gum, rock candy, and a few other things sardine flavored. For whatever reason, Prinny bodies loved the taste of fish. It didn't matter what they liked in a past life, with a new body came new taste buds. Desco quickly started to devour her chocolate bar.

He hopped back in his seat a bit as long, purple, ginormous tail slid out from underneath the Desco. He watched as she jumped back and landed on her tail, arms and legs stretched out into the air. She looked like she was hopping like a kangaroo, as if she was happy with the outcome. He sighed. At least her being happy was better than her wanting to destroy the whole world.

"Yes! Desco was created to be a boss monster for Big Sis! Yea we can have lots of fun!"

His eyes widened ever so slightly as she spoke. He hadn't given it much thought before, but now that he noticed, this 'Desco' person -or thing. It was getting harder to judge just what exactly Desco even was with each moment that passed- mentioned her 'Big Sis' a lot. Whoever she was, she clearly had something to do with Desco and was even kind of.... malevolent, if she wasn't trying to fuck with him with her statement about space and time getting fractured and taking over Earth.

But perhaps what astounded him most was her calling herself a "Boss Monster." That simply wasn't right. There were only two Boss Monsters he could name -they were Asgore Dreemurr and his wife, Toriel Dreemurr. They separated after a long while in the underground for reasons he wasn't sure of- and we was more than certain that Desco was not one of them. After a bit of quick thought about it, though, it suddenly seemed more and more plausible. She looked alien enough to be a monster; a really weird one that wouldn't have looked more out of place if she dressed up in green neon japanese skirts and danced to the tune of Sailor Moon, but a monster nonetheless. And, given her mannerisms, it was impossible for him to tell if she was young or old. By the definition, she might not have been kidding with her self-proclaimed title.

So not only was he dealing with an organism of unknown origins, but this very same organism could very well be part of his own species and could ALSO be a Boss Monster that had clearly never aged for... well, who KNEW how long it had been since Desco had aged. Something was telling him she hadn't aged at all.

He leaned back a bit more in his chair when Desco moved towards him. That tail of hers added a good few feet to her height, and honestly, it was freaking him out. He didn't need any more revelations.

"You need to ask Guu something? Desco can e-mail Guu right now. What do you want to ask her?"

He saw her phone was in her hand. It was clearly a celly, and she was already typing away at it. His eyes flashed with excitement and anticipation before he took a deep breath. He spoke slowly, if only to make sure he didn't betray any sense of nervousness or happiness from his goofy voice.

"uh... just tell her i need to ask her a question," he said, "i'm looking for someone, and i want to know if that someone entered city. his name's papyrus."

Just the fact that the world decided to, for once, throw the old skeleton a bone was almost enough to break his mask of a smile entirely. He didn't what this was; it might have been fate, destiny; perhaps he had made the right choice to be a lazy bastard after all; maybe dumb luck was on his side this time. Regardless, he felt something inside himself he hadn't felt in forever: a warm feeling. He almost melted onto the table from it. Finally...

He was going to see him again...
