Character name: Luci
Character source: Original
Character history: Luci is a native of a psychedelic urban dreamscape called Udditi. The Udditi is a plane overlapping the real world that only certain individuals can perceive and exist in, like a radio station that someone can "tune in" to. The Udditi is a trading hub, attracting dreamers, meditating monks, aliens, demons, angels, wizards, drug users, ghosts, and personifications of abstract thought. In the Udditi there are salesmen and waitresses and gangsters and guitarists and saints, just like many other universes. Luci is a Vandal; a reality hacker.
Luci is a sentient painting that walked off her canvas into Udditi. She never met her creator, who spray-painted her on an alley wall, but she thinks she was imbued with some of the artist's spirit. She has a burning drive somewhere between creation and destruction that manifests itself in beautiful but useful Graffiti. She became active in Udditi 'politics', playing games of cat-and-mouse with paranoid Machiavellian absurdists. Luci always aligned herself with the cause of freedom, becoming something of a thorn in the side of the movers and shakers of Udditi. Her brazen disregard for authority was catching up with her.
She might have been lucky that Omni intervened when he did.
Luci was a criminal in Udditi, wanted for stealing state secrets, harboring a known fugitive, conspiracy to commit treason, burglary, trespassing, vandalism, shoplifting, arson, assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, inciting a riot, rioting, harassing a Headquarter Official, sexual assault on a Headquarters Official, narcotics trafficking, and public indecency. She was running with a rough crowd. The Psychedelic Sunshine United Party is considered one of the most dangerous terrorist groups in Udditi, and Luci was one of their key operatives. Her ability to get in and get out of enemy territory quickly and without being seen gave the P.S.U.P. a distinct advantage of other Udditi factions, and they used that advantage to the fullest.
Her notoriety grew, and so did the notoriety of Sunshine. Headquarters (Udditi government) took several Sunshine operatives off the streets, Ripl the Water Nymph got abducted by Sirians (From the Sirius system, not Syria), and Luci's primary contact within P.S.U.P. disappeared without a trace. The day her contact vanished, she tried desperately to find out what was going on. After several tense phone calls from a secure phone booth, she established that a raid had crippled most of the Psychedelic Sunshine United Party, and the various factions in Udditi were hunting down remaining party members. She hung up the payphone, and cried a little.
At the moment Omni chose Luci, she was feeling very alone.
Physical Description: Luci is a pretty young woman, casually dressed in skinny jeans and a threadbare hoodie, her small backpack and sneakers covered in glowing graffiti. Luci herself positively drips with psychedelic energy. The swirling colors that make up her hair and eyes and sometimes her skin pulse with a steady light. Hanging at her waist in a holster is a spraycan.

Stats:
ATK: 1
DEF: 1
SPD: 5
TEC: 3
Starting Proficiencies: Ranged Proficiency – 1000 OM Area Attack Proficiency – 600 OM
Starting Powers: Phasing – 1200 OM
Starting Moves (All pending approval): Paint a Bomb-300 OM; Paint a Door-300 OM; Paint a Rope-300 OM; Paint a Phoenix-600 OM
Paint a Bomb-300 OM- (Requirements: Area Attack Proficiency)- Luci uses her spray can to paint a cartoony icon of a bomb on the ground or wall. It takes Luci three seconds, is about a foot in diameter, and is active when Luci steps away from it. The next person (sentient creature with enough OM to count as a Prim or Secondary) to walk within three feet of the painting activates a moderate concussive blast 10 feet wide. Because the bomb has to be planted, this move has less utility than a standard projectile, so it has a larger area of affect. Luci can only have one Bomb at a time; if she paints a new one, the old one fades away instantly. They also fade after a day. The bomb can be set off by the activation of a Power or Move in its proximity; the bomb falsely registers a 'person'. Also, to the those in the know, it can be defused by simply tossing some water on it.
Paint a Door-300 OM- (Requirements: Phasing)- Luci paints a door (or just a doorknob if she's in a hurry) on a wall that she can open. The door leads to whatever is directly on the other side of the wall. She cannot use this power on walls that are thicker than one foot. She can take other people through these doors, and when she closes them, the wall seals behind her, the picture of the door remaining. It takes Luci two seconds to make a door.
Paint a Rope-300 OM- (Requirements: Ranged Proficiency)- Luci paints a long (15ft) golden rope she can use as a grappling hook. She can make the rope retract or extend at will quickly, about a second. If the rope is fully 'retracted' it disappears. She can do this instantly, while moving. She cannot use this rope directly for combat; for example stealing an opponents weapon.
Paint a Phoenix-600 OM- (Requirements: Ranged Proficiency, Area Attack Proficiency) Luci stands still and paints a magnificent scarlet-gold phoenix that charges and explodes in a fifteen-foot fireball when it hits. It takes her five full seconds of uninterrupted painting, after which she aims her attack. The phoenix explodes on contact, or when it reaches the end of it's range, 80 feet. 'Paint a Phoenix' deals the amount of damage you would expect form a 300 OM projectile but with a wider area of effect.
I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. Check. Sorry I went to update my post and deleted it, so here it is again.
