Looking over the island and ruins it still seemed shocking that he had come here from so far away and was now stuck here with companions from who knows where in the grand scheme of things all of them tied to meet here to complete this quest but for themselves or for Omni. He had to admit many answers to questions he had could be found here and he intended to surely see this through as he would need to do the same in the future if he were to ever finally learn the truth.
Revan took note that the ponies name was apparently Celestia a nice name he would be sure to easily remember it though it was strange that she seemed the opposite to Sombra in many different ways.
Though the others seemed rather unimpressed with the island he himself was not used to seeing such things though it was not the first time he had to admit he had seen islands even before coming here.
Continuing to examine the stone it seemed other pillagers had already been yet he doubted they had gained everything the evidence pointed that this place was still very defensible. He hoped there would be no dangerous surprises inside but then again what would be the point if this quest of their choosing was easy all would have been here by now.
Slowly Revan followed her over to what appeared to be doors which he had to admit was extremely exciting for him to witness as they prepared to open them.
Seemingly Celestia wasted no time opening them also summoning a small light orb which he was impressed with perhaps with training he could have one too.
Celestia was certainly more brave then he had first imagined her to be having taken the lead once again she seemed intent on completing their mission he had to admit he liked her tenacity it was something he would need to strive for every day. He however was not trying to keep himself hidden from any beings view this time as he moved forward to keep up with the four legged pony.
Revan made the decision to follow beside Celestia after all she was currently partially acting as his guide to this place a lot talkative then the other it seemed.
In truth a part of him did feel like he was being watched by the other though not all the time but enough he noticed it.
As Revan walked into the dark cold stone room his eyes fell over the details of the room noticing the statue glyphs and other such things he tried to make sense of it all.
He somehow understood the writing as he read it with his eyes yet he did not recognize the writing perhaps Omni had granted him this small ability most recently or maybe it was different somehow.
Carefully looking around he continued to study the room seemingly it had not been touched yet. It was perhaps good for them as it meant whatever they were after was still here though he could not help but notice the burn marks around the room as it were clearly something bad was here he just did not yet know what.
Revan however did notice as soon as his companion stood upon what appeared to be a trap just as he was beginning to wonder what the writing had meant a figure appeared presumably to answer that very question.
Then the figure began discussing though he appeared to be some sort of strange technological ghost as he stepped up and moved his hand through the being once or twice for good measure.
Strange more and more Revan seemed to be compelled and put into positions where technology far beyond what he had seen in his former world had been shown and proven to exist here and he was beginning to feel he had been kind of left out his entire life at least until obviously now. Any technology he saw he did try to take a mental note of however as he was certain there would be more and more as he continued his adventures as it seemed most beings in the omniverse relied on it to give them their advantages which had not escaped his attention and made Sombra and Celestia different in his eyes.
Still Revan knew they were now in extreme danger whether from the being or something else yet he knew they had not come all this way just to leave now and this was his first true mission kind of a good impression on the world if he stuck through with it though he had to admit he needed help.
He had not come here to necessarily fight however and for this moment remembered to listen as a ot could be learned from simply doing so though he was very unprepared for what was said next and what was shortly to follow.
The strange being began to speak of his domain and supposedly his companion had suppressed his anger which Sombra had warned him about just before about how it would make one a brute.
Suddenly the man was thrown into a wall behind him hit by some red energy clearly Revan had to think quickly or else maybe they both would be next in line for the same terrible treatment from their unexpected host.
The suffering of his new companion was not an option he knew he had to stop it from occurring though he had already attempted touching the hologram and harming it seemed impossible to him though quickly he began to form an idea in his mind on something he hoped would work. There was only one chance as he allowed himself to feel anger still not enough but with Sombra having guided him he felt the power he needed for his very simple plan to stop this terrible event from occurring.
Revan gripped at his sword handle perhaps this was merely an echo of maybe it would react to his actions of this he was uncertain but he had to save his new found ally.
Drawing the sword he rushed at the hologram slicing straight through it with ease as Revan landed on the other side of the being before turning to face it again.
He had not damaged the hologram as was to be expected he had not been expecting to damage it merely gain its attention and give it what it wanted and expected from them and judged them for not having.
He may not have the anger you seek but I have been learning from one that does and I ask that they be respected so long as I am here.
Of course his plan had been a long shot but he hoped the being would cease his attack with new found interest in him especially after being around Sombra who had taught him to use his anger among other things.
If it worked the being would no doubt possibly attempt to learn more about him and in front of the others perhaps he had already revealed too much or maybe not he was unsure.
Standing in a new combat pose he prepared to swing at the hologram again if that is what it desired though he was not interested in being tested by a piece of technology it simply did not deserve the opportunity and he would make sure it knew that. It did not occur to him that he would be thrust into such an odd situation but he sure was not backing down now that he was this close.
