"Friendship is just a weakness that ponies use to make themselves associate with one another and divide their power more and more until nothing remains, but their so called "Friendship." Without it, they would be helpless. Friendship is not power, most likely. It was a fluke that allowed the Unicorn turned Alicorn, Twilight Sparkle to defeat me in combat and best me. I cannot allow such to happen again. I overestimated my own natural skills, and underestimated the abilities of my enemies. Such can never be repeated if I am to survive here. Sure Omni says he'll revive us as long as we continue to entertain him, but I'd rather my fate not rest in the hands or hooves of a deity. I plan to take it back, no matter what it takes. No matter how much power I must gain, I will show Omni I am not a toy. Pain and suffering shall be his instructor, and misery shall be his coach in life until he learns that. But not yet, no. Not while my power is weaker than it should be."
Sombra paused as he thought about it. Where should he go from here? Already he had been to several places within the Omniverse. Coruscant was enough to give him a migraine because he was so unused to all of the technology they possessed. Magic was more his speed and yet he didn't want to encounter any of the foolishly heroic types either. This ruled out Camelot, because in a Dataverse post he had heard something about "Anti Evil Enforcers" and had no desire to encounter them. Even if they were a joke, he was not in the mood for a prolonged battle against unknown forces. The fight Revan had dragged him into with the Trolls had been bad enough to say the least. Without his scythe, most likely he would have died then and there.
"The Frozen Fields isn't an option. The blizzards there are too much of a distraction, and a danger to my wellbeing. The Endless Dunes are also out. Were it not for the extreme heat, they still have a bandit problem that needs to be snuffed out. I can rule out the Vasty Deep as I've been there and will not return until my power surpasses it's current level. I'm going to need a whole new array of spells before I can even remotely consider returning home. While this may make life difficult, I do need to improve my arsenal. After all, I'm nowhere near the mage I once was, if I could barely handle some trolls in a fight."
