As Celestia negotiated with the patron in the Land Fall Tavern and convinced him to be their ride to the nearby island, Veritas smiled. They had a means of getting there at the very least. But with the dangers he'd read about on the island well preparation was half the battle. As it stood he couldn't do much in a fight unless he shot his opponent, or sliced them. What he needed was another ability, something he might discover on the island actually. "Excellent. Now that you have procured us transportation, all that remains is gathering essential supplies. We'll need some rope, possibly some explosives... oh wait we can just make anything we need when we get there..." said Veritas. Going over to the exit of the Land Fall Tavern, Veritas opened the door for Celestia and the Captain. Being polite wasn't his strong suit, but he knew he could do it. It wasn't that difficult to fake kindness, and decency so he could pull it off. A grin on his face, he asked. .
"So do we have everything we need, Celestia?" Veritas was unaware of a new weapon, well more of an old one that had been 'reloaded' into his weapons module. This was the Particle Beam Rifle that he had once used back on his world. Still he knew today was going to be a good day at the very least, because he felt like it was going to be such. "Are there any further tasks we need to accomplish before we journey to the island?"
