Upon a closer inspection of his surroundings Mori realized that surrounding landscape was more than just white. It was also dotted with a few glimmering dots on the horizon. There also seemed to be figures going from dot to dot which appeared to be people. Mori took one last look around him and noticed what he had somehow missed before. He wasn't the only one here at the fountain. He saw a few other figures around him, most of them seemed to pay him no mind. Some looked as confused as he did, and still others looked as though they were waiting for someone and kept shifting their eyes, scanning for something unknown to Mori. Still, with all these people gearing up for a fight Mori decided to prepare in case something happened. He quickly stretched out in preparation to launch a little training exercise for himself. Mori quickly spun Yeoui around before releasing a flurry of Re-Taekwondo kicks.
"Why... do I feel so slow?" Mori pondered aloud as he noticed his speed had dropped considerably. He let out another combination of kicks only to yield the same speed as before. Now he was really confused, why would he have lost so much strength?
Then it occurred to him.
His strength was based on his proximity to Mori Jin. Being in a separate universe must have made Mori Hui significantly weaker than before. Being free from Mori Jin might have let him become his own person but it also meant he would be at his absolute weakest. And if a fight were to break out right now with Mori Hui the way he was then he would almost certainly perish. Mori looked around once again and noticed something else around him. Everyone seemed to be partnered up. With a few exceptions all of the people traveled in pairs or groups, likely to protect from attacks if a fight broke out.
"Maybe I should find someone to tag along with until I can guage just how powerful everyone else is and how weak I've become," Mori said to himself. He decided to walk around the fountain until he found a suitable companion. He had walked around for a few minutes when he noticed somebody he thought he might be able to talk to. It was a young girl, younger than him, or younger than his body's age at least, looking thoughtful while sitting on a comfortable looking green chair. It seemed as though she was trying to process things around her, and also seemed like she was hoping for someone to approach as her eyes flickered whenever someone got near to her.
"Well, here goes nothing..." Mori thought to himself before approaching the girl in the chair and leaning against his stone staff. "Uhm... Excuse me miss but, you wouldn't happen to be new to all of... This as well would you?" He asked as he gestured to everything around them.
