Character switch and an interesting alt

The six-week thing that you both are talking about? What is it? It doesn't make any sense to me. The rules state that I can't switch more than once every six weeks, but that wouldn't come into play, because im only switching one character. I don't have a second character so I wouldn't need to wait because im not switching. Or would I still need to wait even though its not a switch?

Submitting a new 2nd/3rd character counts as a "switch" for that six week limit because it requires the staffers to go through and approve a joining form.
