Character switch and an interesting alt

I am not switching Thor to Odinson. I am switching Thor to a different character who will have roughly 9000 to start with and making a fountain fresh Odinson with 5000. Odinson will have almost no power and is more about a broken Thor trying in vain to regain what he has lost. I want a total rest for Thor. Odinson isn't even going to spend all of the 5000 he starts off with.

Yeah, I understood what you meant. My point was that:

Thor => [character] would lose you 4000ish OM. Sure you'd be left with 9000 but you are going to lose those 4000. You would keep them if you turned Thor into Odinsson, and you would already have several of the moves purchased for Odinsson that you are going to purchase in the future.

Odinsson as a new character is gonna have 5000 OM, same as if you join as [character]. You'll have less OM to spend initially, sure, but in the long term you'll have 4000 more - which is around 35-40k words, nothing to sneeze at at.

Ultimately it's your choice though, of course! Just throwing in my 2 cents.

EDIT: And yes, like the others said there would be a 6 week window for someone to nab Thor. Not all that likely, but possible. With Thor => Odinsson, you would have him guaranteed.
