Character switch and an interesting alt

I'm just curious, why do you want to re-submit Thor as an alt after swapping him out? You're going to lose a hefty amount of OM (~4000, roughly calculated), your moves and other stuff.

While I can't think of any precedent, you could probably request a name change for Thor without changing your actual character, then roleplay that he gets killed or dies to a higher power (wouldn't it be ironic if he died from a lightning strike?) and wakes up in the Nexus without any of his abilities. Not that you actually LOSE them, they are still on your Roster and not refunded, but you roleplay Thor as not having them available to him. He could also have lost his memories, if you want a fresh start. I imagine that Odinsson will look much the same as Thor save for his clothes and such, too.

The other advantage is that because you aren't submitting a new character to join, you don't trigger the 6 week cooldown and could submit your alt at any time if you have an idea already.

Of course this wouldn't be a hard reset like re-joining, but I see next to no disadvantages to it :frog:

EDIT: I derped out. If Thor just has to find his hammer and wants to bring his friend back, he would keep his memories and looks, obviously. Nice job, Amms.
But yes, I remain by my suggestion. It could certainly make for a fun storyline, I imagine!
