Hmmm....... you could maybe try to take some influences from mythology, if you're interested in that. A fearsome god or some kind of spirit! This page has a fair-sized list of monsters with brief physical descriptions attached, so if one piques your interest you can research some more. (Egyptian gods & Greek gods are also listed in the sidebar. )

In order to provide any other characters rooted in a show/comic/etc, though, I'd need to know what you're interested in or familiar with!
