The combatants were shocked with Enel sudden appearance into the fight. Cornel immediately took to the sky to face the new threat. Everyone's eyes were glued too the fighters above. Red shook his head, snapping him out of his amazement. Standing in front if him was the young woman with the filthiest mouth he had ever heard, which was saying something since the vigilante called thugs and drug dealers his comrades in his past life.
Her jaw lay open as she watched the on going battle above them. With a smirk, Red brought his fist back and slammed it into the woman's open jaw.
"Should have paid attention, lady" Red said with a devilish laugh.
The sound of the woman crumpling to the floor seemed to awaken Eric as he yelled once again about the rightful place of the blade. A large bow and arrow materialized out of thin air. Red could feel the immense power from such a weapon. Red closed his eyes and opened his arms, ready for such an attack.
The sound of lighting cracked through the air finding its mark off in the distance. Red snapped his head down, a mixture of joy, shock and dread filled the vigilante. Knelt down before him with the magical arrow sticking out of his chest was his friend Thor.
"Thor?.. What the hell..?" Red said kneeling next to the mighty warrior
“I will recover, my friend .” Thor said, spitting up a little blood, it began trickling down his bearded chin.
Anger began to well up inside of him.
"This was between you and me Erik!" Red screamed.
"What? I was aiming for you!" The physic yelled in return.
This only angered the vigilante more.
"Now. You die" Red Hood said calmly.
He broke into a sprint, unsheathing the sword that laid around his back. His body began to have a green hue. The blade glowed virescently as the power from the Lazarus pit encompassed Red's body. As he neared his target Red leaped into the air, causing Erik to stain his neck to pin point his attacker.
"Chidori!" Red screamed as he brought the blade down in front of him. The blade crackled to life, chirping wildly as it longed to taste flesh once more.
The blade sank deep into Erik, cauterizing the surrounding flesh immediately. A shockwave erupted from the point of impact, causing anyone near enough to the physic to be blown back from the sheer force of the attack. Erik groaned as he stared at the blade sticking from his chest. Still in his fit of rage spun around, twisting and jerking the sword from Erik's body and sheathing the sword in one fluid motion. The blade ceased its static chirping as its energy left it.
Red threw another flashbang in Shay's direction. The blast caused the Templar to stumble back a few steps. Red was already upon him, slashing furiously across his chest.
The Templar regained his senses and began to parry the attacks, trying to put distance between the glowing vigilante. Red back flipped sheathing his knives as he landed. He reached down and pulled out his pistols, letting loose a volley of bullets into Shay's already dazed body.
Joline began to pull herself to her feet muttering the words that summoned her weapons of choice.
"Trace on"
A new burning fire was in her eyes as she charged Red. He waited until she was close enough and used her momentum to vault over her, firing more bullets into her back once he landed. She fell to a kneeling position as she caught her breath.
Once again Red holstered his pistols and pulled his blades from their sheath. Greenish smoke licked off the blades as he charged the woman. Red slashed the kneeling woman furiously. Her cry of pain echoed across the nexus.
"Who's next?!" Red Hood spat behind his crimson mask as he turned on his heel, searching for another opponent.
