The beginning of the End (Artefact Battle) (PvP)

Erik sighed dejectedly as he wandered throughthe Nexus, disappointed that he had failed to make any progress again. Was he doomed to make no progress in this world? Just as he was seriously considering this thought, Erik spotted someone in the distance, someone familiar.

Erik's eyes widened as he realised who it was. It was Red Hood, the man who had fought against, and defeated, Volvagia while fused with Nealapph, and the man who had the chidori blade. Sasuke's blade. 

Anger welled up inside the psychic, furious that he would just take the sword instead of returning it to its rightful owners. Marching towards the fountain, Erik hoped that the man would just admit that he had taken it, because claiming ignorance would be worse than impudent, it would be an insult.

 Before he reached the fountain, Erik's eyes were drawn to the small crowd that had gathered around Red Hood. A knot formed in his stomach, at best they would be willing to work together to fight Red Hood, if it came to that, but at worst they could be Red Hood's allies.

All eyes fell on Erik as he reached the fountain. Most of the people crowding around the fountain were simply sizing him up, but a sound of surprise came from Red Hood. Erik cleared his throat, slightly unsure of how to begin.

"Hello again, Red Hood." Erik began, "I'm not sure if you remember me, but I was one of the primes who assisted in killing Volvagia. That is of little relevance now, however. I am here for the Sword of Kusanagi. It belongs to Sasuke, and since he has... Gone missing, recently, then by right it should belong to New Babylon!"

Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves, Erik drew Mageslayer and levelled it at Red Hood before shouting, "Red Hood. I, Erik Vrell of New Babylon and priest of the mindbreaker order, challenge you to combat!"
