Shay Cormac's knees were a tad wobbly; jumping into the gates of the Nexus after running across half of the Endless Dunes and possibly most of Coruscant might have been the reason for such. Shay's head felt heavy. His thoughts were so all over the place, he could barely remember what he was doing over his pounding head.
Those damned hooligans he was chasing. Never bothered once to take their baggy cloaks off, tried to trip Shay countless times in their chase that lasted for hours, and... Now?
Shay looked up. Nothing but white.
The Templar's knees crashed onto the floor of the Nexus, if you could even call it that. His breathing was steadily slowing down, but his lungs felt like they were burning still. He kept looking, trying to regain focus onto any possible person in the vast, blank and empty space of the verse, yet nothing Shay looked for even remotely fit the bill. Whoever he was chasing, Shay soon realized they were long gone.
Though, at this point, the captain currently groaning on the floor didn't much care, despite him being absolutely sure that the hooded figures were some sort of criminals. Shay hadn't seen anybody with that much stamina since... his older days as an Assassin. The thought made him wince. The Templar needed to take a bit of a breather. Though, there weren't many couches to loaf around on, or any beds...
Well, Shay thought, there WAS the Fountain. Not much could go wrong there, unless some wicked Prime decided to pick a fight with him. At this point, Shay didn't want to try Lady Luck's fortunes again, as much as he detested her ways. Perhaps it could do the man a bit of good to be careful every once in a while.
With that, he finally got himself upwards, and began to walk.
