Neku had threatened him, as if he were some monster that was just going to hurt Desco. It wasn’t in his nature to hurt a little girl, it just wasn’t. But it was understandable, Neku’s action that is. If they all had come from different universes, then in Neku’s universe, Reapers were different, they were monsters. Nyeseth wasn’t one of those reapers, he only helped people.
As Neku glared at him, Nyeseth glared back, well… up at him from the ground, but it was the same either way. As he watched Neku and Rand walk off, he looked at Desco who was still in front of him. Nyeseth laughed at the situation, at his own stupidity. He’d thought that Desco needed protecting, and that may be true, but she’s still just as useful in a fight. He hadn’t realised that if he was here, anyone else that had appeared at the fountain must be just as useful as he was.
‘Hey… uh… Pink, what’s your name?’ Nyeseth asked, referring to the small pink haired girl and cutting his laugh short as he sat up, sheathing his sword as he did so. He sat forward, and almost slumped over, using his sword and sheath to catch himself and hold himself up at the same time, it wasn’t that he needed it, but it just made it less of a hassle in all of this exhaustion.
