The memory faded to black. Darkness engulfed the faunus, once again she hovered in black nothing. If there was any more tests, Amber was probably going to break her own mind. She could not take any more of these hurtful times. As a child, it hardly bothered her. Now as she has grown up, she is finding harder to cope with.
The dusty ground appeared below Amber. Thankfully, it was dust this time, not snow. She sat up slowly, with a massive migraine to boot. Her brain felt like it was being crushed under a wrecking ball. A red diamond shaped crystal was in her hand. This must be whatever Murasaki’s monitors had picked up. The mental challenge must have been a prerequisite to obtain this thing, whatever it was. She stood up slowly and called Murasaki.
“Yo, I think I found it. It some kind of crystal, and it’s emitting some weird power.” She said, looking for the motorcycle she had spawned. It seems to have disappeared. She decided to just walk from here.
”That has to be it then. Bring it back and we’ll take a look at it.” His voice echoed through the speaker on Amber’s headset. She hung up the call and continued on the path back home.
