Just as Ozal had walked in, Kaylee had finished business with Melody’s transaction. To Kaylee, Ozal was, for lack of a better word, different. In any case, he was always polite enough, and to her, that was he had to be to be accepted her store. Many different creatures and people live in this world and Kaylee was used to seeing some alien to her appearance.

“Concocting more of you special ‘toxins’ I see?” She said inspecting his items getting a good judgement of what they would be worth. It was difficult to inspect when he used different currency, but on that matter, she could not just deny his Ozallars. It's the only currency he had, and if she denied it he would probably starve.

“Toxin to you maybe, dear Kaylee, but many enjoy drinking themselves to the bottom of a mug. How much do I owe you good lady?” The Ferengi asked pulling out his cash ready to pay and get back to the bar to start working on his new alcohols.

“Well, I've finally come up with a decent currency scale for Ozallars and gold and silver. Two Ozallars per silver. So that’ll be about ten Ozallars.” She said putting his purchase in a bag and exchanging it for the money.
