Name: Jack “Rooster” Jensen. Rooster is the nickname most people call him, but a more formal or serious character can use Jack instead.
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Appearance: Jack is a young man with black hair, and a noticeable farmer’s tan. He keeps his hair cut relatively short, but doesn’t put much thought into its length or how well maintained it is. He is often spotted in blue jeans and various shades and styles of button up shirts, along with his well-worn brown work boots, and occasionally a camouflage baseball hat. On his right hip he always has a holstered revolver and a badge.
Relationships: None at first. Jack makes friends easy, though, with his laid back personality and penchant for joking around.
Profession(s): Farmer/Police. Rooster’s official full time job is as one of the island’s law enforcement officers. However, he sees little purpose in wandering the island looking for trouble, so he spends most of his time working on his farm just outside of town. He responds to calls for assistance, and when he has a rare combination of some downtime and motivation he will actively look for troublemakers (smugglers, rowdy locals, or whatever)
History: Rooster started his time in the Omniverse as a part of the Empire and the Stormtrooper Corps. His lackadaisical attitude was supplemented by the commanding officer that did not push him too hard to succeed. Rooster ended his time with the Empire without much fanfare, simply deciding not to re-enlist. He lived as a hunter in the Tangled Green for some time, before deciding to find more wide open spaces to utilize his talents. He moved to Windfall Island shortly after the departure of the Empire, acquiring a track of land so he could be a peaceful farmer, in exchange for using his training and experience to help keep order on the island.
Possessions: Jack owns a small farm just outside of Silverrock Village, but not quite at Paradise Bay. This includes a small house, a shed, a silo, and a good sized field, all just off the trail between the two destinations. He owns a pistol, a shotgun, and a hunting rifle, the latter two geared specifically towards hunting. He also is in possession of the various farming equipment needed to run and maintain a farm.
Powers & Abilities: Rooster has no otherworldly abilities, though this makes him far from a pushover in a real combat scenario. He does have formal combat training, and even though he’s forgotten most of it he remembers enough specifics to be effective. He is a good shot with a gun, a skilled hunter (though he only has the time to recreationally hunt), and a decent farmer (he’s still learning).
