Windfall Island - OOC Thread

Name, Gender, Age etc.: Kaylee “Kay” Furon, Female, Most certainly between the ages of 18 and 21

Appearance: A young, slightly spunk woman of light complexion and dark brown hair, a beautiful set of blue eyes to complement. Though she has not directly given her age, she is at least of marital status yet has no husband. One can normally find her at the islands General Store, which she owns and runs herself.



Relationships: Kaylee has no relatives she knows of on Windfall Island, but she is well resourced with many on the island including but not limited to the Farmer, the Innkeeper, and The Hunters.

Profession(s): Merchant. She has also been know to handle a sword, but no perticular skill of note.

History: Kaylee came from a smaller island in the Vasty Deep with of course a small settlement where mostly everyone was related. Her father taught her the art of swordplay, since their little island could be prone to plundering and invasion. When the young woman came more of age though, she found her lifestyle boring. This island held nothing for her future. After saying goodbye and gathering supplies, she imbarked on her own adventure to either find treasure, adventure, or simply solace in a more meaningful life. She would travel to new places, collecting trinkets and wares to the best of her abilities, this is how she survived. By trading with bigger ships or on islands in need of supplies. Not much time went by before she ended up on Windfall. The moment her foot hit the soil she knew this place would be her new home. It was a new life. She sold her small boat to a wandering adventurer which she used to purchase a house on Windfall, within a month she had made this home a multi purpose shop for travelers who docked on her new island home. Anyone who wishes to make money or find simple suplies knows Kaylee well.

Possessions: Kaylee owns the General Store named Furon’s Footlocker, which also is her own home. It is a medium sized building. The first room leads into her shop but further through the door behind the counter leads to her personal home. While the shop is welcome for anyone, you wont end up in her good graces if you try sneaking into her home and that would mean you lose access to her shop. Where, beyond the hunters, is probably your only source of grocery shopping. Have care. You can find simple wares for your home, such as silverwar and small household items of that like. Alrhough the biggest trade item in her store is food. Fish, meats and vegetables, whatever suits your fancy. Kaylee has also acquired weapons like swords, daggers and bows, mainly to keep their hunters stocked with weapons for cheap price.

Powers & Abilities: Beyond swordplay, Kaylee doesn't have much other abilities. She owns a katana, which she keeps hidden from view until it is needed. She has practiced with a few magical arts as well, but is hardly proficient past casting bolts of ice and fire. These two spells are extremely simple. Forming balls of fire and spikes made of ice to be launched where ever she aims. She has control enough to use them as she pleases.
