Home is where you hang your helmet.
#2
The faunus sighed heavily in relief. It was about time she got to lay down and relax. She hung Razorback up on the weapon rack and piled her armor on the mannequin that resembled herself. It was not the best likeness but she did not care either way. It was then the young girl realized how dirty her clothes under the armor were. She had been sweating and collecting dirt on her shirt and skirt. The dresser in the corner of her room held a small white dress which she exchanged for her current attire. Amber dropped her clothes on the floor and headed to the adjacent bathroom where the shower awaited her.

The hot water hit Amber’s back somewhat hard. It did not hurt from the heat but the pressure was enough to feel like it was massaging her spine. The tense knots her back slowly unraveled.

“Ahhh, that feels great.” Amber whispered to herself. She took her time in the shower before getting out and putting her dress on. Next was something she had been waiting for for far too long: Sushi. The sweet taste of beautiful fish wrapped into a cute little circle. It was like chocolate candy to her.

She sat on her bed and took the time to summon a whole box full of California rolls and a few assorted rolls like Dragon and Rainbow Rolls. The wait was worth it too. Like a fat kid in a cookie store, the faunus scarfed down the rolls, enjoying herself too much. The thought of being safe from death was beautiful along with the sushi.

Amber’s attention turned to the bruises on her body. The pain had subsided mostly, but that does not mean she was in her best health. She would be cooped up for awhile if they did not heal soon. Or, perhaps she could heal them herself? She looked down at her jacket, wondering if the power of health could work like how she summons things. The faunus reached down to her hoodie and pulled out the Omnilium orb. The heat it resonated was comforting. Applying it to her stomach, she focused on her bruises to rid them from her body. It took about ten minutes but the warm heat from the orb seemed to heal her wounds. Even the pain in her nerves was drove off. This was a power that Amber surely abuse.

After healing up and finishing her lunch, the faunus laid back in bed. Primes never got tired or needed sleep, but that does not mean catnaps were something of the past. She curled up under the covers and let herself give in to the dream world.
"I've been neglected, harassed, beaten, and diminished all my life. What motivates me to continue? The glory of proving people wrong. Being worth more than the numbing existence offered me. To be a hero." - Amber
