There in the alleyway between an iron fire escape and another apartment building of some sort stood two groups. The two friends, and Ash. Around them, the shadows that clung to every bring and metal casing grew darker, fuller, braver. Like demons, they fed on the despair in the metal man's heart the darkness that blanketed the the cubby hole the three had landed became swollen and ready to burst. Slowly the claws of his past demons reached out for Desman's heart, caressing his metal casing that would send chills throughout anyone else's spine. But as Daxter rushed to the aid of his friend they dispersed as if banished shades in the light!

The friendship between them was real, had to be for Daxter to rush to the side of someone other than Jak or a pretty girl. The worry was thick in his voice, but Daxter managed to remain himself in all of it. "That's it, buddy, it will be okay." The mythical creature said in attempts to cheer up his ally, patting the metal man on his back. "Do you want to talk about it?"

She watched from the unseeable eyes behind the floating visor that now locked onto both of them. An outsider like her wouldn't understand this kind of companionship, this kind of compassion. Ash didn't have true friends, and frankly, she could use without the sob-story. She's had friends, sure, but anyone who's had the misfortune of considering her anything more than just an acquaintance or someone you worked with felt the swift kick of her boot in their ass as she rejected them harshly. So instead of joining in on the conversation she stood apart from it and just waited for the waterworks.

Only for her head to snap at attention as her new app sent a noise straight into her skull. She watched the distance meter in her hub lower while it announced to her that Jak was on the move. "Guys." She interrupted. "He's moving, do you maybe wanna hold it together until we get to his side?" She asked, letting her eyes side glanced them. Her tail floated in the air behind her as if it were swimming in its own current of time.

They didn't seem too shocked at her calm comment, but with a helpless glance back at Desman - who nodded as best as a robot could - Daxter turned back to Ash and nodded in a determined way. "Lead the way, hot stuff." He said, letting his eyes fall onto her perky ass. It was barely covered in those tiny shorts, surely she knew what she was doing! He had an obligation to stare at this point.

"Flattery will get you everywhere, sweetie." She teased back, and then began leading the way in a soft sprint, heading straight for Jak. The numbers in front of her counted down twice as fast as they closed the distance, but eventually faded from view when they reached a certain point. The app detailed it was within a few blocks. She had to stop, but Daxter didn't. He was already leaping up to her body, making sure to cop a feel while he passed her butt, narrowly missing her tail on its way back from an arc. He found her shoulder again and lifted a paw to look around for his friend. She dismissed the screen across her eyes and looked as well.

"Dynamite!?" Daxter called out, and his voice bounced across an empty cavern of buildings. "Kid?" He wasn't worried so much as he just wanted to find his friend. Had he known Jak's friends were in trouble he might not have leaned on his new ride so casually, crossing one leg over the other and letting his tail curled over the back of her neck. It looked like she was wearing him partially, but he didn't notice. He waved at the air and looked back at Desman. "Where is that big lug? It's not polite to keep a lady waiting." He looked over his shoulder with an arched brow and a grin, smoothing back his ears. "Especially one so uniquely interested in meeting my sidekick." He looked like he was trying to find a balance between gauging her interest in him and proposing Ash show the eco-warrior some love when he showed up.

The demoness responded with the signature smirk and winked at him. "If only he knew I was waiting for him, right?"

Warning: Anything that involves Ash should be rated M. Possibly higher.

Erik Vrell : Ash has a 'love' fourth dimensional shape
Erik Vrell : As in its wide and unfathomable for us mere mortals
