The battle was not one that Warren had expected to be dragged into. In all honesty, what he had expected was that whoever had answered the bounty would be able to work Omnilium and seal away Dark Hecate permanently, so he wouldn't have to deal with her. This was not what actually occurred, nor would it be likely to occur. As the ice stabbed into his shoulder, and then his chest, Warren refused to give Yandere Lover the satisfaction of hearing him scream in pain despite it feeling like a million lances made out of lava had been inserted into his body. No, that was not an apt description for what this felt like. It was more like someone had distilled the sun into a liquid, and then injected it into his blood stream. Short story? It hurt. It hurt a lot. And Warren did not like feeling hurt. Mental note, the attacks of other Primes could hurt you.
As he was slashed by Yandere Lover, Warren had to give the guy props. Really he had not expected the Secondary to possess the gumption to attack him of his own volition. Nor had he anticipated that the individual would have the brass cahones needed to do so. Perhaps it was time he cut loose and showed the guy just what happened when you messed with Warren Zimmer. Yes, that sounded like a smart plan to do, honestly because the Quarterback of Chaos was done messing around. Victory required that he attack with every bit of his power, and strength.
After an attack from Yandere Lover nicked his shoulder again, Warren frowned beneath the black metallic helmet that covered his head and held gray trim on it. It was time he went on the offensive, and so on the offensive he went, swinging one of the replicas of Hecate's swords in a feint aimed for the neck, while the other was aimed at the ribs of Yandere Lover, in an attempt to go right for a severely damaging blow. The Quarterback of Chaos would use his acrobatic skills to move himself out of the range of any further attacks from his opponent to give him breathing room, but only for a second. Dissipating the swords that he had, the replicas of Hecate's weapon, Warren decided to go with something he was a bit more competent at using, and that required less skill to use. Specifically, a weapon that was of Anticorian descent that he had discovered in the Omniverse, the Chaotic Quarter Spear Staff. More specifically, he fired a beam of energy from it at his opponent because he had set it to blaster mode instead of the melee mode the spear was normally used in by him.
"You're going to die." stated Warren, rasping because of the sharp sensations felt from the wounds he had from Hecate, and Yandere's offensives, well more Hecate's Splash Damage, and Yandere's offensives. Should his attack be successful, Warren would start to charging something up. It was past time this fight got ended, and he had only one move that could possibly take down Yandere Lover. The Foot Bomb may be a prototype, but he was going to use it against his opponent. Still it was going to take more time than the other attacks had in order to properly charge them up, and so for now he'd have to go on the evasive against Yandere Lover. Really, it was not a good idea to do so for prolonged periods of time. At some point he was going to have to work on increasing his own skills so he could beat opponents like this without even so much as breaking a sweat.
Sadly this battlefield was not the best one for the two of them to begin to fight in. For one thing, there was another fight going on. Chances are Dark Hecate would waste no time firing off another barrage of those lethal icicles at him, or Yandere Lover by accident, so he needed to put an end to their battle quickly. In addition he had to hope that the battle would not draw the attention of any Imperials because he really didn't want to deal with that time wasting stuff right now. There were a battle to be won, and he had to focus on it. Taking a deep, cleansing breath, Warren banished his worries from his mind before focusing on the task at hand.
Once the Foot Bomb had been successfully made, Warren kicked it without any fanfare over to where Yandere Lover was. Hopefully it would work. If it didn't, they were going to be in trouble should the battle get worse. So now, Warren waited.
