It's Just The Beginning

Soon after, Jacket feels like he blacked out after the intro of the Omniverse and wakes up in the whiteness environment of the Nexus. A feeling comes across him like he woke up from a nap but he still slightly remembers living in 1989 Miami. He looks around him noticing the new place he is at now. Strange that this world he arrived in doesn't look like it has any landscapes or living things. The ground even felt artificial not having any kind of soil feel but instead a hard flat surface. This does concern Jacket where he's at right now in this strange blank verse. He did heard that he wouldn't be alone and that there were others like him out there. Maybe he would have to look harder here to find anyone. Jacket turns around away from looking at the white horizon and sees that a fountain stands before him that looked out of place. The base of the fountain was a big square with gold metallic wave like sculptures that surrounded the main part of the fount. It was a pyramid shape with a spout spewing water from the top and the long slide that surrounded the black pyramid even attached to it too had the same shape. Water went down and reaches the bottom having an end that collecting the water most likely helping to keep doing the cycle.

Weird that the fountain was giving Jacket déjà vu as if he seen this some where  before. He blinked a couple times looking at the structure that had more color then the environment surrounding it. Silence was among him making him feel alone but discovering the fount, he can hear the noise of water moving and spilling. It started to get louder as Jacket is still looking at the architecture. He blinks once more then opens his eyes realizing he was in a different place now but this time he felt like he was back in his home city. The fountain was in a corner taking up the space with nothing present around it. Jacket turns around once more away from the fountain and sees a doorway open but a corpse of a dead Russian mafia gangster with his head crushed leaving it unrecognizable and flesh mush with blood even chunks of the skull surrounding the neck of the body. Suddenly, he realizes that there was a bloody wooden bat in his right hand pointing down at the ground dripping. His chest and torso was also covered from some of the blood most from the carcass.

A mask was covering his head too which was his chicken mask having a bit of blood on it as well. Jacket realizes where he was now. This place is starting to feel familiar especially the clean fragrance. He notices this is a spa that the counter was further away from the entrance on the right wall with a window behind. In the counter contained having some comfortable towels especially hygiene products for baths and skin. Two Russian gangsters were standing at the door that let you go into the main spa area farther away from the counter which they just now notice Jacket killed one of their men. One was armed with a golf club and the other with a butterfly knife. They rushed towards Jacket with anger thinking they were going to kill this masked maniac once and for all. When Jacket blinked again before they could take a swing at him, both were dead and beaten up badly showing blood spread across the ground. There was now even more blood on him than before.

With each blink, Jacket sees he's making progress through the spa killing every gangster in the facility. Dogs even tried to attack him that were trained by the mafia but failed from Jacket's brutal nature. The process of this massacre felt like minutes were passing by. Finally after one more blink, he can see the last gangster that was in the building pleading to leave or at least pay him so he can live. Jacket ignored every word he said and noticed they were in a steam room. The man was sitting against a fountain having his hands raised at Jacket. Instantly while the men was pleading partially in Russian, Jacket drops his weapon and hits the guy in the mouth so hard it left his face in a bloody mess losing teeth in the process.

"Pleash....no..." gurgled the gangster from the blood in his mouth spilling out.

Without hesitation, Jacket grabs the guy from his white sports coat and pulls him close then turns him away facing towards the fountain. Suddenly, the man's head gets forcefully dunk in the steaming warm water. He begins to squirm around to at least break free or have air but was unsuccessful. Still, he was still moving with his hands at least trying to grab something. After two minutes of Jacket forcing the man to be submerged underwater, the victim drowned and the water became bloody from his broken face. Jacket stands there for moment still having his attention on the corpse slouched over with the head underwater.

One last final blink, Jacket sees himself back in the Nexus but was still clean from all the gore he thought he just made and was unmasked. He notices he still has that same cigarette he was smoking earlier in his mouth which looked to be already burnt up. The used cigarette gets taken out of his mouth and thrown on the ground then smashed by his sneakers. From looking at the ground a bit, he notices that his mask was still lying on the ground from earlier. Unexpectedly, the mask starts to dissolve into omnilium with particle substance heading towards the orb then obtains it. This was astonishing what the orb did to his mask and realizes what Omni said about the orb. From what is all happening to him, he walks up to the fountain then realizing the the fountain transformed into a normal looking fountain then the one from earlier. Strangeness did fell upon Jacket but he tried to brush it off and remain calm about this situation. He sits on the side of the fountain for a bit to rest.
