Chopping The Day Away

They all charge with war cries towards the big demonic tree having their weapons ready. The tree moves the multiple branches and swipes away Gus and Ash but grabs John making him being tangled in the branches. He tries to break free from the grasp of the branches and does manage to slice some off. John can move a bit from the less branches that now hold him and gives him an opportunity to keep cutting away the branches. More of the limbs come after Gus and Ash they begin trying to cut their way through the many branches that try to get them. This is making them slow down and not letting them get close to the tree's hull body which is it's weakness. Ash keeps sawing with his chainsaw hand to any branch or root that try to get close to him. Meanwhile, John finally gets free from the grasp and falls next to the big monster plant then starts hacking and slashing at the main body. This makes the tree screech really loud which hurt their ears from the volume it was making.

John gets wrapped up from the roots and thrown to the side from the beast. He lands on the ground with a oof by how hard he impacted on the surface. The farmer drops his sword from landing and is in pain from the tree making him go airborne. Ash grabs his shotgun while him and Gus are continuously cutting down the infinite branches that try to grab them. He shoots at the tree which may it stun a bit giving Ash and Gus a break from the limbs. They rushed their way towards the tree to try to make damage to the hull. Roots come after them as they get passed the branches but they stopped again defending off from the roots. John gets up slowly and grabs his sword seeing the others in trouble with the tree. While the monster was focusing on them, this gave chance for John to strike again. He sprints towards the tree still in pain then tries to cut into the flesh of the plant which made it noticed John.

The roots tried to focus on him too but gave a bit of slack for Gus and Ash to move. They reach the tree then start trying to do immense damage by stabbing, sawing, and shooting too. This makes the tree start to spew out even more green blood spraying on them and getting dirty. Screeching of the tree was made even more from the amount of damage making every root and branch swing violently. Suddenly, the tree starts to swell up and looks like it is about to blow. The men kept making war cries while killing the beast and being covered in it's gore not really paying attention to what's happening to the tree. A kaboom happens with the tree making limbs, roots, and bark fly all over the place especially making the sky rain with it's own blood. "Aaaah!" screamed Ash from flying back from the explosion and so did the rest. They land on their backs covered from head to foot in green blood.

"Grr. What in the bloody hell happened?" said Gus sitting up trying to figure out what happened to the tree. John sits up too and tries to wipe the gore off his face. Ash gets up quickly then realizes what just happened and started cheering "Woo! Yeah baby! Take that bastard!" The other two were still sitting on the ground and sees that Ash was the only one standing back up celebrating. This puts a smile on their faces and a bit of laughter which Gus and John joined in with Ash. From a day of victory for surviving, they all grab their equipment and finished the work for today. The men get back on the wagon and ride off into the afternoon with a lively conversation about today.
