Chopping The Day Away

Ash and the rest of them continuously cut down tree after tree in the woods. The evil dead slayer helps John and Gus a couple times if they came across a tough tree. It's been hours since they started working but with Ash's help, the work area is starting to clear out with the trees. After cutting up the trees they think that's enough, the men begin to cut the trees down into pieces of fire wood. The total of trees they got down was around six. Some were a good size, others were small and easy to saw up with Ash's chainsaw. They begin putting up the sliced wood in the back of the wagon making trips back and forth with arms full of wood. It took twenty minutes to fill the wagon up with wood but John believes that isn't enough and they have to cut down one tree but at least a huge one.

"We should cut down one more that's pretty big just to be safe that we have wood for a while." said John with a concerning look on his face at everyone. Gus and Ash nods an agreement and they go deeper into the forest having their bows on their back and swords holstered. Ash keeps an eye out on any fishy business if they were being followed. The woods was silent with them as they hike farther away from their wagon. After seven minutes of walking, they come across a big withered oak tree that looked it had to be there for a really long time. "Ah, this is perfect. Ash you may start sawing away first." said John examining the tree and feeling the bark on it. Ash walks up pass Gus and stands next to John looking at the tree as well. The plant was filled with many branches and roots growing out for anyone who liked climbing big trees, this would be their kind of tree. Ash starts to yank the starter a couple of times to get his motor going.

His chainsaw hand activates and Ash revs up the chainsaw making a bunch of noise and the machine blowing out some exhaust each time he moves the chainsaw's blade. The evil dead slayer gets close to the tree puts his chainsaw up against it. When his tool touched the tree's bark, he puts his left hand on the handle to getting ready to begin sawing. Ash starts slicing away the tree's bark but the wierd thing about this tree is that it was hard to try to cut through then all the regular trees they didn't have a problem. He didn't even got depth yet in the tree after a minute of sawing. "Damn. This tree is a fighter then the othe-" grunted Ash taking his tool out of the tree to rest his arms but his sentence was cut off by the sight of the tree oozing out with green liquid where he was sawing at. The trees limbs start to move around a bit on their own and the tree by itself starts to turning around towards the group with the roots coming out of the ground.

The tree was creeping the men out and they started slowly backing away from it. "I think we messed with the wrong tree." said Ash with an uneasy look on his face to the others. They see the tree done turning around and shows them a big horrific bark face that looked unhappy. The tree roars at them which made them start hightailing back to the wagon. Of course they have weapons but it looks like it would take a lot men to put down this disturbing plant monster. Roots of the tree starting to move out of the ground and was giving the thing friction. The tree starts crawling across the forest towards the men that upset it. They arrive back at the wagon but more tree like creatures come out of the forest in front of their ride with angry demonic faces. This whole situation made the horse startled and making whining noises in fear.

These creatures weren't the size of the big oak tree but were tall as 15 ft actually having wooden legs to walk on with roots as feet. Their heads looked like the top of a tree was cut off leaving them flat-headed. They had two big branches as arms but having prickly ends to them making their limbs lethal. Ash and the rest get surrounded by the moving trees having no where to escape. "Looks like we have to fight our way out then." said Gus with a scowl on his face drawing his sword and placing it in his hands. "Right then." replied John calmly getting his bow out and loading a arrow in it quickly. Ash revs up his chainsaw hand and whips out his boomstick from the holster saying with a confident manner "Let's turn these guys into paper."
