"But what should I begin to learn next? The power of Fire could be a useful asset to my arsenal. Being able to spawn fire-balls and create barriers comprised of my blazing fury as well as shooting blasts of fire could be interesting to say the least. Fire magic would be useful as a powerful style because it would allow me to defend myself. Of course there are also other elemental properties. Water could be useful as an elemental property because it could be commanded by me. Pressurized blasts of water, blinding and searing steam. There's truly a lot that could be done with the power of the water element, actually. Water could also be used to conjure shards of ice and use them as a variety of weapons. The water elemental power could prove a unique power that I didn't have beforehand. Earth on the other hand is solid and rigid. This is the elemental power that I possessed before and is a power that I must relearn how to do so. Earth allowed me the power to create the Crystals I once used."
"Air is the last element that could be used by me. With it I could suck the oxygen out of their lungs, or to create blades of air. Furthermore shields of air. Perhaps I could even fly via the use of the air element. Air is versatile even if it is not as powerful as the Earth, Fire or Water Elements."
The ex-monarch of the Crystal Empire started to think about which of the elements should fit him. Fire on the one had a lot of potential power because such could lead to the detriment of his mind. Fire could corrupt an individual in similar fashion to the Alicorn Amulet. Wind required a more lighthearted mind set and willingness to do something other tan this. Water on the other hand required the ability to change and adapt. Last but not least, Earth required that he become rigid and unmovable like the Earth itself.
"I'll need to choose an element for myself."
