Hospitality in the darkness
#6
"Hay Mr, how did you lose that hand?" questioned Thomas focusing on Ash's metal hand. "Thomas! You know better then that being rude about questioning a missing limb at the dinner table. I'm sorry Mr. Williams, Thomas hasn't really seen anything like your hand before since we are very secluded from society." said Shirley apologizing about her son's manners. "Nah, that's ok. It's a long story how I lost it. Hey kid, remind me the next time to tell you the story when we aren't at the dinner table." said Ash smirking at Thomas's question. They still continued to fest on the dinner but out of all of them, Ash was eating the most due to his hunger earlier. All of them looked at Ash how fast he was eating which makes him look at everyone then says "What? Can you tell that I'm hungry?"

After twenty minutes later when supper was put out on the table, the dinning room table was littered with empty plates that had scrapes. Ash takes a drink of the beverage that dinner offered which was watered. He burps after when he was done with the meal and rests a bit in the chair. Ash and the family continued to have a conversation about some minor things but wasn't anything important. After they finished talking, the family gets up and starts cleaning the dinner room from the meal they had. Ash helps some by getting the table clear from all the dirty dishes and scrapes.

The undead slayer walks up to the big window of the dinner room that was centered with the table. He looks outside, being able to see the McFarland ranch which he can see a big crop field that was next to a good size fenced pasture of cows. A wooden old barn sits out close to the cottage that was next to the field. They also had a wooden silo next to the barn that they store their grains in. Ash finishes looking outside and turns away heading out of the dining room.
He walks back out into the hallway and heads to the kitchen which was at the front of the house, next to the front door on the left of Ash.. A wooden counter was set up in the middle of the cooking area which consists an old iron stove that's next to a couple wooden cabinets holding items. The kitchen was also half Sculley room which Shirley was in that part of the area trying to wash the dishes with Esmeralda which she is a brunette wearing normal house clothing and Thomas who is a redhead like her mother wearing overalls with farm clothing underneath who's also helping cleaning too by sweeping the area.

John and Gus wasn't there which made Ash questioned "Hey where is your husband and his friend at?" Shirley turns around to see Ash and responds "They're resting in the living room after a long hard day of work." Ash nods and turns around to head back through the hallway. He walks in the living room seeing them sitting in the arm chairs. Gus across the room, was smoking his tobacco pipe sitting there having his focus on the fire until Ash arrived. The evil dead slayer comes around John and sits on the couch that was next to him. "Sorry to be noisy Mr. Williams, since primes do have a history of themselves before they come here. I'm interested in hearing where you came from." said John turning to Ash when he was seated.

"Listen, you don't have to call me by Mr. I rather you call me Ash" responded Ash correcting John on his name. "Alright then Ash, can you please tell me about you?" questioned John eager to hear about Ash's origins. "Fine then, Once upon a time I used to be a store clerk at a retail store called S-Mart. I had a girlfriend named Linda that I used to work with. We decided that we wanted to have a get away so we decided to drive off to a cabin in the deep woods. It had a book that a archeologist was studying at, named Necronomicon Ex Mortis AKA the book of the dead. The book was bound in human flesh and inked in blood. Pages in the book consists bizarre burial rights, funerary incantations, and demon resurrection passages. A book that was filled with nothing but evil. I accidentally read something aloud in the book that awoke something dark in the forest. It came for Linda possessing her which I was forced to put her down. Then, it came for me. The evil got into my hand so I had to lock it off at the risk. I tried to cast out the evil with something in the book but it took me too bringing me to the ancient past. I helped a kingdom fight off the evil and obtain the book so that no one will try to activate the dark power. They wanted me to teach them and to be king but I thought my place was being back in my own time. Now, here I am when the wise man said that if I swallow the juice and said the words. I would be home." finished Ash with his story having John intrigued what kind of person he is.

"Did you say every word right?" questioned Gus looking at Ash. "Well maybe I didn't say every tiny single syllable no but basically I said them yeah." said Ash back at Gus with a confident expression. "Basically..." continued Ash looking away with an uneasy look. "Oh sure you did, King." said Gus puffing smoke out of his pipe.

"Good....Bad....I'm the guy with the gun."
