Hospitality in the darkness
#5
Before Ash left the room, he looks around to find his shirt so he wouldn't be half naked a the dinner table. After a minute fumbling around in the room for his shirt, he finds it on the floor next to the closet. Ash buttons his shirt up then heads to the dining room where supper was taking place. He had to go through the living room first to be able to access where dinner is at. The living room was similar to a cabin one having a stone fire place burning, a buck mounted over it, a brown comfortable couch, loveseat, two armchairs, and a bear rug. Wood is what the house is built out of but not artificially. His bedroom gave him immediate access to the living room which is a nice spot to have a guestroom at.

Ash turns to the right and heads down a small hall and on the right side was a stairwell that gave access to the second floor of the house. Left side of the hall had a door that is opened and it was the dinning room. He can see the family gather around the table already having food placed out but they where setting utensils down. The family consists five members which was John, Shirley, a young seven year old daughter, a fifteen year old son, and the farm caretaker which was the well muscle built man.

They noticed Ash's appearance in the doorway seeing he was doing fine. "Nice to see you fully awake Ash." said John in relief that Ash was doing fine. "I almost thought I killed you when you got hit by my wagon." continued John walking across the dining room towards Ash as the family is still busy trying to get things straight. "I'm pretty surprised you looked alright since being out in the wild Pale Moors at this time of the day is usually when Dracula's people is out to hunt humans." said John concerned about how he survived. "Let's just say, I have an expertise for some situations." responded Ash. Both of the men walk to the table and the family begins to settle down for dinner time. The table was filled with some vegetables and fruits for the side dishes. Main course of the meal was a fully cooked turkey steaming from being fresh out of the oven.

They begin to pick what they want on their plates and pass around bowls of food. "Oops, I forgot I need something for my right hand." noticed Ash not having his metal hand on. He summons his metal hand then equips it to his right risk. This made the family have a strange look on their faces what Ash did. "What, never saw a guy with a metal hand before?" said Ash to the family what they just saw. "Just great, we brought home a prime." said the farm caretaker in discouragement dropping his utensils on the plate. "All they do is bring nothing but trouble." continued the bearded man with a scar on his left eye. "Gus, quite your griping. Ash is our first guest here on the McFarland ranch." replied John not in the mood for his negative mood. "Sorry Ash for Gus complaining about you. He hasn't had a well history with their type." said John looking across the table at Ash.

"Ok first off,
what's a prime?" questioned Ash raising his brow up after what John just said. "You see Mr. Williams, primes are beings that are brought to the world by Omni. They have powers that us secondaries don't really have. Such as what you did right there with your hand is something that we can't do since we don't have the ability to use Omnillium." lectured john about the Omniverse. "By the way, sorry if I haven't introduced my family to you Mr. Williams. This is my daughter Esmeralda, my son Thomas, and you already met my wife Shirley. Gus isn't blood related to our family but he's a long time friend I known." said John talking about his family.
"Good....Bad....I'm the guy with the gun."
