Hospitality in the darkness
#3
The pale demon and Ash clash together in a fight to the death. They both knock each other back but Ash's opponent used his wings and flies straight towards him. Ash starts running towards his enemy with his weapon and attempts to slash his target. He managed to clip off one of the demon's wings making it crash into the ground four yards away behind him. From the tree catching on fire earlier, the forest begins to get engulfed by fire due to the dead and dry environment. A snarl was made by the demon seeing his wing has been cut off and gets back on his feet, forced to fight on the ground. Ash quickly goes for his boomstick behind him and grabs it off the ground with his left hand, raising it to the hell-spawn. It roars at Ash and starts making a full on sprint towards him but is getting slowed down by the two shots that Ash unleashes making it stumbling.

This gave a chance for Ash to make another move on his opponent. "Ha!" screamed Ash swinging his Chainsaw arm cutting off the demon's right arm and does another slash on the left one leaving it arm-less. This makes the monster scream in agony and kneel before Ash from the pain. It hisses in anger looking up at Ash with it's mouth wide opened. Ash plugs the evil one's mouth shut with his shotgun in the jaws and says with a smirk "Here's a side order of lead." He pulls the trigger making the demon's head explode leaving a corpse with no head or arms. After the fighting was done, Ash was covered in demon blood and realizes that the forest is having a wild fire. He flees the scene and runs deeper into the woods.

Everything started catching on fire fast which made Ash surrounded by burning plants and the woodland was lit up with spread. Ash continues to run through combust forest trying to escape the dangerous flames. All of sudden, Ash was stopped by more monsters that blocked his path which they looked like they must've known the demon he just killed. "Hay...uh....guys, how's it going?" said Ash in jokingly manner while the burning kept going on behind him. "You know, I just met your friend and he seemed like a groovy guy and did I mention he was pretty handsome too. We chit-chatted for a while until I had to saw his arms off and blow his brains out. Anyways, I'm going on my way now, you guys try to stay cool." said Ash trying to stay calm then runs off in another direction away from the monsters.

They chase him, trailing behind Ash as he tries to escape from the situation. "Shit! Shit! Shit!" cursed Ash running through back into the dangerous forest fire trying to throw them off his track. Most of the time, he had to change the direction which way he was running due to some of the flames blocking his path. Still the monsters where high tailing behind him and didn't care if they had to run through all of the fire to catch up to Ash that killed one of them. Ash comes across a big oak tree that was burning and dropping huge flaming branches. He manages run across in the nick of time before the branches hit the ground.

The tree falls apart, blocking the monster's path to catching up with Ash and they become trapped in the burning forest surrounded by flames. The undead killer manages to escape from the monsters and the forest fire, hearing the screams of agony being burnt alive. "Burn in hell, you creeps." said Ash breathing hard and looking back at the fire while he was still running. He focuses back on his path and jumping over the obstacles that were in his way. Ash manages to come across a paved dirt road and runs in the middle of it. Right when he was still trying to get far away from the forest fire, he gets hit in the middle of the road by a horse drawn wagon. This makes him fly back from the impact, landing on his back but didn't get anything broken.
"Gah." muttered ash under his breath but starts to faint from being hit by a wagon.

The men stop their horse when they passed by Ash and got off the cart with their oil lamps. They run behind the wagon to see what they hit and find out about Ash. "I say we should leave him here." said the 7 ft., 45 year old man who had a full on black beard but a bald head and muscle-built body who was wearing Blacksmith clothing. "No. no. no. That's not right. He's not one of them. We need to see if he's alive." said the other man who is 38 years old and 5ft tall that had brown hair which the style looked messy a bit. His apparel was medievalesque farmer clothing but the way it looked was wore out from a hard day of work. He checks Ash to see if he was still breathing while the blacksmith thought what a strange object that replaced his right hand.

"He's still breathing, we should take him back to let him rest up a bit. The stranger looks like he's been through hell today." said the farmer getting up after checking if Ash was alive. "Grr. Fine." responded the blacksmith, helping the farmer to pick up Ash and put him in their wagon. They climb back on and got the wagon moving again down the dirt road.
