I remember how my "I'll name everyone after the characters from One Piece! Haha!" game went.
"Alright my first guys are probably gonna die so I'll just name them characters I don't really care about, not part of the main crew. Gold Roger and Whitebeard, sure. Okay they died, they got far so it's okay. Now for the main crew. Luffy--oh, he's dead, shit. It's tragic, the rest of the crew will continue on with his memory. Oh, I lost 3, fuck. Well, the new crew will - oh okay, they're dead. You know what, I'm just going to keep the default names."
