I wasn't sure why I was fighting him. I guess I could run right now, afterall, he couldn't promise me a way home. However, part of me feared what he may do left to his own devices. If I could defeat him now, at least I could keep from doing any harm in this world.

Time to "spar."

My horn lit up as I took off into the sky. I sent a laser his direction, causing him to duck out of the way. I swoop around, firing a number of laser, just to get him moving around on the battlefield, hoping to get him disoriented early in the fight. I spend a few seconds casting a spell before sending another volley of lasers his direction.
