Baby Steps

[Guu]

Guu was really pro at this "thinking while moving" thing as her thoughts were delving deeper and deeper into a river of rich thought. All questions all philosophies, once accessible to her in an instants notice, came flowing through her in one wave. Questions like: "Why are we here?" "What came first, the chicken or the egg?" and "What's the deal with socks anyways?" These thoughts passed through her like the water surrounding her as she swam, making one pretty blunt metaphor to real life thing.

However, it was the question "Who is the girl right next to me right now?" that really surprised her. Flipping over so she was on her feet, she scanned the girl up and down. The large demon thing on her back made her reminiscent of some beings she used run into before her days with Hare, but she was surprised by the cute girl attached to it.

"Who are you?" the girl asked.

Guu, now intrigued, swam closer to the edge of the fountain and stood up closer.

"Hi, my name is Guuuuu," she said in an incredibly bored voice, flapping her arms in the air. "Love the demonspawn attached to you."
