The Eternal Code, Shifted
#10
A shrill scream jolted his attention forward, toward a girl with... green hair? She was hollering something about scavengers. While he had no idea what she was talking about, he could figure out that she was likely a new Prime. He sighed, finishing up his message to Jade Harley and her (his?) crew, before beginning to walk over to the newbie, but it seemed someone else beat him to her. And, it was a familiar face. He stopped, eyes widening upon realization that this was actually a new Prime as well. That was Creatia. And damn if he'd ever expected meeting someone he knew from his old world.

Creatia was a battle partner, that he met through an apparently world-endangering invasion of an old enemy of theirs. The Korsen, another alien race, were trying to destroy Earth to mess with her employers, the Multiversal Federation Agency. Creatia had called upon Jupiter to help, because of his experience with stopping extraterrestrials. Things didn't really go as swimmingly as planned, despite their combined expertise. There were casualties, more than anticipated, anyway. And while they were stopped, they still did a lot of damage. That was a loss, in their books. But the mission was a success. Earth was saved again, humanity lived another day, and the two warriors parted ways. That was the end of that, and Jupiter's final adventure before he was taken to the Omniverse. He had spent almost a year in here, much of it in the Ashen Steppes, and yet here she was. Fresh as a fiddle, and from the scars she carried, likely not from too long after the battle. It was strange how Omni chose his Primes, and when he did.

Jupiter approached the two, re-donning his sunglasses as he walked. The HUD sprung to life, quickly scanning the area around him, but there was no need. He already knew what was going on. A surprise caught him, though. There was a third person, a man. And he seemed pissed. Another newbie? God, he was surrounded by greenhorns today. Maybe if they decided to fight him, he'd actually win. He half-heartedly smirked at the jest his head decided to make. Now wasn't the time to feel sorry for himself. The Graveyard had passed. He wasn't there anymore, and reports suggested that Teucer had moved on. Whether he had or not, Jupiter didn't care. The guy was unbearably naïve, when it came to the ways of the Omniverse. All Primes cared about was war. Maybe he was the same.

"HEY! Answer me!" yelled the man in far-too-normal clothes for Omniverse standards. It seemed he was also impatient. The hybrid sighed, turning his gait toward the screamer. Upon noticing his presence, the man turned, glaring at Jupiter. "What do you want?!"

"I don't think you'll get much out of them. They're just as new as you are," he said, calm despite the anger nearly radiating off of the other. Said man almost growled at him, clenching his fists.

"And what would you know about that? Are you on his side?" Dan accused, pointing at him. Jupiter simply shook his head.

"I wouldn't consider myself 'on his side', no. He brought me here just the same way he did you, though quite a bit earlier," replied the hybrid, shoving his hands into his coat pocket.

Meanwhile, Creatia balked, staring at the argument. She was obviously just as surprised to see Jupiter as he was to see her. Though maybe a little more showing of it.

"J-jupiter...?" she asked, confused. He simply held a hand out to silence her. They'd have to talk another time. For now, he had a really angry man to pacify.

Amid the tense silence came a loud voice from the fourth Prime to break it. "Alright, what the heck is going on here!?"
