I was originally going to have the Golden Flame catch up to them just before they made it to the treasure, but I think it works better if they catch up after they've got the Star Piece, to help cover the period of time where the group will be treking back home, so there'll actually be a little more to come if this is good enough.
If not, I can fairly easily work things around to bring that encounter forward!
