Hecate vs. Cirno
#6
Hecate nearly laughed at the girl who was asking her to give up. shaking her head she winced as she drew the first of many icicles out of her arm licking the crimson blood of it before tossing the icy projectiles to the ground. She was in a great deal of pain, the wounds but her face didn't show any of it, in fact, it had been a long time since Hecate had felt the near ecstatic levels of pain she now felt. She knew how much a human body could take, and she knew she was getting dangerously close to that point. She knew she was going to need to rely on her speed if she was to stand any form of a chance.

"I yield" She said as she slid her weapons into the scabbards on her side and back slowly and deliberately she walked towards Cirno counting each step and each second as she got close she held her hands out ahead of her like a prisoner secretly slipping her fingertips into the grey wrappings on her right arm as she got closer and closer she stumbled to add to the illusion as she fell to a knee, she seized the handle of the combat knife hidden in the wrappings preparing herself by focusing on the weapon now tightly clenched in her strong arm. When she got up she lunged forward ripping the purple blade free of the wrappings and slashing at Cirno’s right arm savagely. Blood sprayed out splashing across Hecate’s face as the blade bit into Cirno’s flesh. In an instant the knife changed from it's knife form into an elegant rapier, hecate wasted no time to savor the warmth of the blood spray as she spun the blade in her hand around and drove the sharp tip into Cirno's wounded arm. Without her hammer she had little defence to stop the coming onslaught of stabs coming from Hecate's weapon. Stab stab stab Hecate's face strained with each thrust as she shifted from the arm to the chest of the fairy. Cirno shifted to the defensive as the deception had bought her off guard if only a little. She hadn't expected Hecate to resort to such underhanded tactics. Even with her bare hands Cirno was still much stronger and hearty than the faster but more wounded Hecate and her heavy handed fists still struck home driving Hecate back again and again with each blow. Shots to Hecate's broken rib seemed to be favored as hecate finally broke off the attack. The element of surprise was only able to do so much, though Hecate hoped the numerous stab wounds would be enough to turn the tide.

Cirno wasted no time retaliating for the sneak attack “ you stupid bitch!” Cirno yelled as she took to the sky to rain ice from above. The first of many more large icicles began raining down towards Hecate who struggled to evade and was pelted by several of the large projectiles. Hecate stumbled slightly, the wounds and blood loss taking a toll on her, still she fought on, glad that the fairy had taken to the sky, now she could go after the one weakness Hecate knew of, daiyousei. Hecate charged the wounded fairy her blade flashing as she lunged hoping to catch her in the side. Her stab was blocked by Cirno who tackled hecate from above. The pair struggled the ground for several seconds neither able to gain any ground on the other. Amidst the grunting and sounds of struggle hecate focused on the thin rapier as it changed back into its base form of a combat knife. The sounds of steel on steel could be heard as Warren fought with the mysterious stranger in the distance but Hecate paid it no mind.

The white stone cobbles of the ground we're being stained red from the blood being spilt by the two combatants. The ground battle came to an abrupt close as Cirno threw Hecate away from the scrap. Hecate was slow to get up as she struggled to her feet. Her hands empty she drew the long blades from her side and back once more forced to use the weapons.

Her knife now lodged in Cirno’s right shoulder was pulled out without ceremony by the fairy and threw it down. Hecate wasted no time summoning forth another large sphere of ice and directing the resulting shards at Cirno’s friend once more.
