Glory's eyes opened to see she was lying down in a strange land composed of fathoms of black upon black as far as the eye could see. She immediately shot up on all fours. She remembered going to sleep in the decidedly non-paranormal royal hut where she presided over the NightWings and the RainWings.
How in the three moons had she gotten here then?
In the corner of her eye, she now spotted a strange, glowing, scavenger-like entity.
She desperately wanted to object to Omni's convoluted plans, to negotiate, to scream. Anything! But when she tried speaking, no sound came out!
Omni placed a orb that was shining with all the colors of the rainbow in Glory's talons.
In a flash of blinding light, the darkness and Omni gave way to a place that was the opposite of the realm that Omni was located in when he summoned Glory: the land was all white! The only deviations she saw was a small pond that Omni had placed her right beside and some gates in the distance.
Then she noticed that she couldn't feel her wings and tail anymore. Not only that, but she was standing on two legs!
She looked down at the pond, stared at her reflection...
...and screamed! Her entire body had changed! Her face, her beautiful face had flattened into that of a scavenger's and her wings and tail had completely disappeared. She ran her hands through the clump of color-changing scavenger fur on top of her head. Glory's scales were replaced with cream scavenger skin.
The scavenger clothes that Omni put on her were rainbow-themed from the garment which covered her upper body to whatever scavengers called the garments which covered their legs and feet.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
