Hal Jordan had been the Green Lantern of the Sector 2814. Back home the Guardians had divided the galaxy into sectors and assigned one or two lanterns to each sector. In some cases more than one or two of the Lanterns had been assigned. Yet here he was in somewhere that had no Lanterns he could readily detect and he was trying to rig his gauntlet to send a signal to any of the Lanterns who could be around. When he failed for the umpteenth time Hal smacked his hand into his face and did it hard. Of course. Why would things EVER be easy for him? First he'd had to 'betray' the Green Lantern Corps and now he was somewhere he didn't even know where he was. The desert world had been one that Hal didn't know much about but had no intention of returning to at least not yet. As Carlton... no Lord Carlton if he could even be called a Lord was taken out of the ship and delivered into the hands of the Pokemon Hal watched for a moment. If he could have made a construct to smack the guy he would have.
"So our mission is done then Vision? This was an excellent mission for our first one together. Just some things I'd like to point out. First we need to get someone new who can teleport to replace Claire. While she was a good member you are right, she was FAR too volatile to be of any real use to us later down the line when we actually start taking on full fledged villains. Also there are no other Green Lanterns here or members of any other Corps that I can detect presently. To rectify that at some future date I will need to start making a Green Lantern Corps."
Hal paused for a moment. When he noticed the Pokemon he smiled but his gauntlet was unable to translate the languages of the ones who didn't speak Galactic basic or english. "Why can't my gauntlet translate your languages?"
