After the hostages had been rescued, Hal started to head back to the Quinjet. When they were all onboard the Quinjet, he'd ask them. "Would any of you mind helping me to become stronger? I would have preferred a power ring over the gauntlet but there has to be a particular reason I'm wearing the Gauntlet." Why was he wearing the Gauntlet? It was something that eluded Hal as to the why he currently had it on himself. One of the reasons he supposed could be because the gauntlet was the precursor to the Ring and he had likely been replaced by now back home with someone who was more talented than he was. "Also, I need to discover if there are any other Lanterns out there."
