What's Your Pokemon Team?
#14
Dunsparce.

What, you want more? You can't be satisfied with the yellow and blue magnificence of the ground snake pokemon that's around 1.5 metres long, has cute wings, a derpy smile and so many awesome move combinations that I made 'Endothermo' my main throughout my first game with one? The pokemon that can drill backwards through the earth or slow its fall with its stubby wings?

Well then, guess I'll add in Porygon. I like a good AI pokemon, and I can think of so many uses I could put it's abilities to use for that I'd be using it all the time. A friend that can play video games with me is awesome, even if it will always have aim assist. H8 is a boss.

Tentacruel has to be my next choice. In addition to being able to help me traverse large bodies of water, Tentacruel are really, really beefy, and they've saved my bacon more than a few times. I'd have to enlarge the pond, but it would be worth it to have the guy to protect the team from heavy hitters.

Joltik is next. The little fuzzball is eight inches of cute electric death. This is the guy I want on my shoulder to wave at people who wonder why someone is doting on a one and a half metre snake, a computer and a massive poisonous jellyfish, just to make them take a double take. Megajoule would be the best at stealth, clearly.

Gardevoir is next, and not just because her psychic capabilities would let her translate for the team. An elegant and capable pokemon, she has stood beside me both in game and in card format, and rarely steered me wrong. The touch of style needed for when I need to make an impression and Dunsparce isn't tall enough to be visible would be the perfect time for Mentalia.

Xatu is my final team pokemon. Able to see into the future (and thus help avoid the property damage and unfortunate circumstances caused by the other five), and also someone I can ask for a lift from time to time, the bird pokemon's mysticism and aesthetic is one I admire and could enjoy.

If I'm to have two alternates hanging around, I think its time for a bit of old school experience. Can't go wrong with having someone who lived millenia ago, and Cradily is my ideal fossil pokemon. Someone who can learn several weather abilities, and is a heavy stop that can switch in for Tentacruel if type advantage rears its ugly head.

Sudowoodo is my final pick. The tree that's actually a rock is probably the closest pokemon to my personal imagery, and I find him to be an interesting pokemon who's propensity for standing around pretending to be a tree is fine by me. Shade and somewhere for me to rest sounds good to me!

At the end of the day, thats two normal type, a poison-water type, an electric type, two psychic types with a dash of flying, and two rock types with a dash of grass. Not too bad, in my opinion.
