Given he'd never heard of the Avengers because his world had the Justice League and the various Lantern Corps Hal was in the dark about the avengers. Frowning as he surveyed the individual Hal thought the individual was a robot. Hal considered the options. But his encounters with robots were a problem. "And who are you? The name is Hal Jordan.
