Razorback’s gears hummed as they turned it into a sword and clicked into position. The monstrosity that stood before them was once man, but now was most certainly a mindless beast that would kill them without hesitation. Naturally it came to mind to think of a tactic. Since Amber is used to fighting near-mindless enemies, this should be simple.
“Carmel, give me some support.” She whispered to her ally as the fox disappeared from sight. “No problem Amber, just remember to be careful. This thing looks tougher than the outside can show.” Amber nodded. Albeit she was not sure how Carmelita knew that, but on the other hand she was not so good at discerning details like that.
Finally the fleshy monster was done with its bone shifting for the most part, and came upon Amber. The faunus was very much prepared for this, but the sight of this creature made her exceedingly nervous. The beast took it's slimy looking arm, which seemed to have overgrown his other, and aimed to slam the cat hybrid into the wall behind her. She responded in kind with her sword. The steel dug deep into its arm, blood splattered against the ground. Unfortunately, this only seemed to be a cut to the fleshy being. Amber was now noticing that even after it's initial transformation, this thing was still mutating beyond it's already terrifying and ugly state.
Feeling even more unsettled, the faunus took Razorback behind her head, after Carmelita’s shock pistol stunned it momentarily, and attempted to kill it at it's core: The brain. Whether it is human or not, it was once human. Kill the brain, kill the being, right? It might have been the case if Amber had thought it through and she had not drove her sword into the ceiling. Concrete dust rained over the faunus's head when steel met stone. “Shi-!” She panicked before being hit dead on by the creature this time. It's blood spilled onto Amber as the fist connected with her torso. Luckily, this thing was slow or else she would have been easy prey to the wolves, or wolf in this case, as she rolled around gagging on her own breath ten feet away from the monster. Carmelita’s assistance from the shadows proved useful too as it tried to search for her like a person lost in the darkness trying to find a lightswitch.
Razorback was now out of commission for the time being, seeing as how this small room was a bad place to use it. It took Amber a few seconds to recollect herself, stand from her prone state and catch her breath. Now her blood was really boiling. Pink light formed over her fingers as claws shaped themselves and the faunus charged the beast on all fours as it's back was turned. Digging into it's fleshy back and tearing out a lot of it's skin, it shrieked in pain trying to swing the crazy cat off it's hide. She lost balance, deciding to jump off before she was thrown again, and nimbly landed on all fours a few feet away from it.
“It's that’s tough so much as it is just capable of taking so much punishment. Not to mention it’s only getting uglier and bigger. Feeding off it's own pain or something.” Amber yelled out. “Stay on the defensive, perhaps we can wear it down.” Carmelita’s voice resonated from behind the faunus. “Heh, if you say so. You know what they say: ‘If it bleeds, we can kill it’!” She cracked her knuckles, careful not to pierce herself with her claws, and stood ready for round two with Fleshy.

Quote:629/2400 Amber took a clean hit to the chest. I expect that'll be described in damage, but no matter! The only hit point that matters is the last one! :rage:
"I've been neglected, harassed, beaten, and diminished all my life. What motivates me to continue? The glory of proving people wrong. Being worth more than the numbing existence offered me. To be a hero." - Amber
