[2-5] Exodus from the Nose Crash
#25
The blood curdling scream that ripped from his throat left his juggler feeling raw as his cry of pain ended from his now shredded throat. A mixture of blood and oil spewed from the gaping whole of his missing appendage.  Cyborg sat there overcome by the pain, shock was beginning to set in.

"Come on, we can't stay here, if you can stand and walk you'll need to or else you'll be swallowed by the ocean." The orange... Wolf? Lion? Stated plainly. He wasn't sure what to make of the beast, but he was right, the tide was coming in and at an alarming rate at that. With the help of the woman whose name he still didn't know he was able to slowly get to his feet.

"You know... You're pretty" Cyborg said with a goofy smile spread across his face. Dizziness, delirium, the blood loss was already starting to take control of his body and mind. The woman looked at her fatally injured comrade with concern as she continued to help guide the cybernetic man farther away from the beach.

Cyborg stumbled and fell, the woman holding him up tried to catch him but the weight proved to be to much for her. He crawled to a near by tree and leaned up against it.

Looking down he saw that his metal gauntlet still was intact. At least the beast hadn't ripped that arm off. He quickly swiched to his plasma blaster and aimed it at the bleeding hole that was once his arm. Another scream erupted from him as he fired the weapon, cauterizing it.  The constant fountain of blood and oil stopped immediately.

Maybe I can survive this, he thought with a hopeful smile.

"Computer full body scan please."

"Appendage missing, internal bleeding present. Internal hardware compromised."

"Shit" he said with a sorrowful gasp as another ripple of pain shot through him. He had never imagined he would die in this place. Maybe it was his own cockiness that lead him to believe this or that his intention to do good would somehow make him invulnerable to such a fate. At any rate he had been a fool to believe such a farce. The metal gentle giant gave a sigh of defeat as he awaited his fate as he felt himself growing weaker by the second.
