The blargh-man and his many choices
#1
As I have mentioned in passing numerous times now, I have many ideas for my potential third character. I am still about, oh....5.5k OM off from being able to make a third character (as of the time of posting this) but OH WELL never hurts to plan for the future. I'll get around to being able to do it eventually.

ANYWAY. The ideas I have, for the most part I have some nifty ideas planned out for the lot of them, to one degree or another. Problem is, I am an indecisive little shit and have no idea which one to actually go with. And so here is a list of things that have piqued my interest for potential third character-ing. If you have a moment, leave a note as to what character you think would be interesting. More notes and such about what my ideas are and varying pros/cons I have in mind will come later.

And HEY, if you want to contribute even more to the insanity and make me pull my hair out even more with indecisiveness, feel free to toss out even more ideas. I will never turn down more ideas.

THE CHARACTERS

The resident axe-crazy, violently-religious warrior-priest. Probably one of my favorite characters, and one I have played many, many times across many sites. I have a fair bit of experience in playing him, all things considered, and have never once had to struggle to come up with things for him to do. It's been a while since I've played him, though...so a fresh start and return to old, familiar territory might be nifty.

Pros
-- Played him a lot, have a good grasp of what to do and how to progress him
-- Has a fair variety of powers and abilities, making sure he's always got something to spend OM on and work toward from that side of things
-- He would be a very different sort of character from the two I already play, which would be very nice
-- Murder-priest
-- There are plenty of heathens to strike down
-- Technically a good guy, but with a violent streak so wide it'd be tough to get many allies. Fun times managing conflict!
-- THE POWER OF RELIGION

Cons
-- Already played him so much, chance for potential burnout if I feel like I'm retreading the same old thing
-- Constantly having to look up biblical quotes and references to fit into his dialogue
-- There may be too many heathens to strike down
-- The power of religion....

Ah... A character from a game I greatly enjoyed when I first played it. And that scared the at the time young me greatly. I'm....honestly not all that sure I could do this one justice, but it's a character I've wanted to try and play for a long time, and the Omniverse seems like it'd provide the perfect place to do just that. I almost religiously read/watch a very good Let's Play of the first two games at least twice a year, as I do not have the means to play them myself anymore, and I do greatly enjoy the series. Treading unfamiliar territory in the extreme with this one, but staying in familiar areas is no way to grow as a writer. Or something.

Pros
-- As said, I greatly enjoy the source material, and am quite familiar with it
-- Rather fond of the character herself, as well, and....I think I should have a decent grasp of what to do
-- Definitely a few solid ideas kicking around for plot-related things and directions to go
-- So much potential for powers and abilities to draw from, and so many other, new avenues to explore with the freedom of the Omniverse

Cons
-- As said, very unfamiliar territory
-- Pressure to do well to not do injustice to a character and series I am so fond of

The Future Warrior

Otherwise known as the main character from Dragonball Xenoverse, a game I rather greatly enjoyed. Lot of potential and overall creative freedom with this one, as they're essentially an OC with a set story they follow through the game.

Pros
-- Version of them I would play would be a bit of comic relief, which would be a nice change of pace from my other two.
-- Naive, easily impressed and distracted, even after the events of the game. Much opportunity for fun.
-- all of the bloody fucking powers and abilities just dear mother of god man
-- I have a bunch of ideas. Just....like, a lot of them.

Cons
-- fuck if i know
-- Potential to turn into a minor/side character who I don't write for as much, serving as a comic relief sort

The Great Papyrus
[Image: Fe2.gif]

So, yeah. Not even gonna lie here; Papyrus is my favorite character from Undertale. Many shenanigans to get up to with him, I've no doubt, and I have....a fair few ideas kicking around. Plus, he has FRIENDS here already!

Pros
-- goofy ass skeleton
-- the best bro ever
-- spaghetti
-- seriously, never forgetti
-- all of the comic relief and lack of seriousness
-- friendpals already present

Cons
-- so...much....comic relief
-- not sure about long-term plot ideas
-- goofy skeleton throwing bones

Darth Vader
[Image: tumblr_nxmktjrb9s1rey868o1_500.gif]

I don't....really have much to say on this one. It be Darth Vader, yo. Plenty of ideas, and plenty of potential I have for him.

Pros
-- Plenty of things to do
-- Plenty of things to buy
-- Lots of people with a lack of faith to find disturbing
-- oh look there's an empire
-- dat theme music though

Cons
-- the pressure

the snowcone Kuzan

:frogsiren: BRING BACK THE MOTHERFUCKING SNOW-MAN :frogsiren:

The character I originally joined the Omniverse, way back when...two years ago. I had a lot of fun, and always managed to scrape together some ideas for something to do. Also one of my favorite characters from One Piece, so that's a plus. Dropped him for numerous reasons involving shattered drive to do much of anything, kind of regretted it ever since.

Pros
-- Already proved I can do the thing
-- Already have ground to stand on for purchases and things
-- Things to get done and continue doing
-- Established ideas and plots I still have notes for floating around
-- New developments since then to provide new things to do
-- motherfucking snowcone

Cons
-- Lingering memory of the burnout that forced me to drop him
-- i got nothing else
If you see me around and you got questions, just give a shout. I'm happy to assist.
