Gun Running
#7
While walking around invisible didn't seem to bother the dreamer, trying to climb down a ladder without knowing where your hands were going to was another deal entirely. Madotsuki thought about seeing herself, and her body immediately faded back into view. She slid down the ladder, slowing down when she reached the bottom. Kicking at the exit flap, she rolled into Tier 7 and collapsed onto a pile of sheet metal. Slowly, the dreamer rose, taking care not to accidentally cut her body in the process-- who knew where those parts had been?

Crusher mentioned while they searched for the tunnel that his stockpile was located in an abandoned warehouse that used to be owned by Ultron Inc. Considering that the man didn't know which tunnel the Night Terror would take, he couldn't give her directions. Even if he did, Madotsuki decided that she wouldn't be able to tell much of Tier 7 apart, anyways; sure, there was the occasional factory dotting the landscape, but otherwise it looked like nothing more than a sea of machinery.

Maybe she should've brought some food with her?

Nah. If it took longer than she expected to locate the warehouse, she could summon whatever supplies she needed.

The faint noise of battle caught her attention-- yelling and whirring echoed across the metal plains. Where there was a fight, there was people. Maybe she could ask whomever was left behind about the location of Ultron Inc.? She raced off in that direction, whipping out her knife and keeping it ready by her side.

What she discovered at the top of a mound of gears, however, wasn't the kind of fight she expected. The good news was that she had found Ultron Inc. The bad news was that the guards Crusher had stated there were fighting against a large group of robots. Over a dozen rustbuckets converged onto the warehouse; some were missing arms or legs. Even when one of the guards chopped off one of the metal warriors' heads, they would just keep walking as if nothing happened.

That wasn't even describing the biggest robot; the 2-story-tall machine was most likely meant to be piloted, due to the thing having a cockpit. However, there was no one inside, indicating that the robot had somehow gained sentience. It lumbered around on four spidery legs, its thick arms pounding at the roof of the warehouse-- much like an arachnid centaur.

Oh boy. How was she going to kill that thing?
