(Preshow) Registration (Where You Sign Up IC)
#14
Christa strolled up to her usual gates, and waved to the guard on duty. It was a friend of hers, who waved the prime through.

Dying and being reborn had not been fun, nor would she recommend it! Now she was back in the town of Darkshire, where she quickly passed through, wondering where the booth was, and keeping her phone and the envelopes at the ready. The elf didn't have a phone, so Christa had scribbled a note and left it with the garrison, and asked the message be taken to him.

Chris continued onward, eventually stopping to ask someone where it was, "Hey, have either of you two seen the booth around here? It's for sign ups... Sign ups for Karl's uh..." She couldn't really will herself to say the words, and her eyes fell back down at the envelope, her incentive to continue with this charade.

"That's us."

"Yes we work for him." The two were twins. Rather strange, different sexes, same clothes, same voice and hair... They held out a clipboard eagerly, "I see you're a prime?" The male continued while Christa grimaced, and took the clipboard with the pen attached and signed her name.

"Damn fucking right I am." She said in a voice that gave them a jump, "Well earned, too." Her expression was placid as she explained a little more about her outburst before placing the clipboard down. Then, thinking better of it, she punched the entire table in two.

The two twins stood up, stared, as the female twin with bright, fearful blue eyes shuddered, "R-right this way... Miss!"

What could Christa say? She was pissed. And it showed on her face. Why not let her fists take a little of it out? Still, the fear written on their faces was perturbing. Christa thought she outta tone it down a notch, but if this was anything like what last year's was, she'd be in for quite a challenge. She was eager, though, to open the envelopes. Almost over eager, for she found her fingers starting to play with the freshly-licked edges. Once she made it through the gate, before she could even pause her stride, blink, and take in her surroundings, her phone began to ring.
